Evangelho

Gospel
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 2,1-11 – At that time, 1 there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee. Jesus' mother was present. 2 Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3As the wine ran out, Jesus' mother said to him: "They have no more wine." 4Jesus answered her: “Woman, why are you saying this to me? My time has not yet come”. 5His mother said to those who were serving, "Do what he tells you." 6There were six stone pots placed there for the cleansing that the Jews usually do. Each of them could hold about a hundred liters. 7Jesus said to those serving, "Fill the pots with water." They filled them to the brim. 8Jesus said, "Now take it away and bring it to the master of the hall." And they took it. 9The master of ceremonies tasted the water, which had turned into wine. He didn't know where he came from, but those who were serving did, as they were the ones who had drawn the water. 10The master ward then called the bridegroom and said: “Everyone serves the best wine first, and when the guests are already drunk, they serve the less good wine. But you've saved the best wine so far!" 11This was the beginning of the signs of Jesus. He performed it at Cana in Galilee and manifested his glory, and his disciples believed in him. – Word of salvation.

Evangelio
