Realmente, o Senhor ressuscitou
Truly, the Lord is risen

1a.Leitura - At 2,14.22-33

1st Reading - At 2, 14.22-33
On the day of Pentecost, Peter 14 standing, along with the eleven Apostles, raised his voice and spoke to the crowd: 22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth was a man approved by God, beside thee, by the miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through him, among you. All this you know. 23 God, in your design and prediction, determined that Jesus was delivered by the hands of the wicked, and you killed, nailing him on a cross. 24 But God raised up Jesus, freeing him from the anguish of death, because it was not possible that she dominates. 25 Because David says: ' I saw the Lord always before me, as it is to my right so I don't waver. 26 rejoiced by that my heart was glad and my tongue and my flesh will rest in hope. 27 Why won't let my soul in the region of the dead nor let thy experience corruption. 28 gave me the ways of life, and your presence will fill me with joy '. 29 Brothers, let me say frankly that the Patriarch David died and was buried and your tomb is among us until today. 30 But, being Prophet, knew God you solemnly vowed that one of his descendants would occupy the throne. 31 therefore, the resurrection of Christ who predicted and announced with the words: ' He was not abandoned in the region of the dead and your meat knew no corruption '. 32 in fact, God was resurrected this same Jesus and that we are all witnesses. 33 and now, exalted by the right hand of God, Jesus received the holy spirit that was promised by the Father, and the shed, as you are seeing and hearing ".

Evangelho - Lc 24,13-35

Gospel - Lc -35 24.13
13 in that same day, the first of the week, two of the disciples of Jesus were going to a village called Emmaus, eleven kilometers from Jerusalem. 14 they talked about all the things that had happened. 15 as they talked and discussed, Jesus himself approached and started walking with them. 16 the disciples, however, were as blind, and not recognized. 17 Then Jesus asked: "what are you going to talking the way?" They stopped, with the sad face, 18 and one of them, named Cleopas, said to him: "you're the only Pilgrim in Jerusalem who does not know what happened in these last few days?" 19 He asked: "what was?" The disciples replied: "what happened to Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and Word before God and all the people. 20 Our high priests and our heads turned to be sentenced to death and crucified him. 21 we were hoping that he would free Israel, but, despite all this, it's been three days since all these things happened. 22 it is true that some women in our group gave us a scare. They were early in the morning to the Tomb 23 and found his body. Then came back, saying that they had seen angels and that they claimed that Jesus is alive. some of our 24 went to the tomb and found things just as the women had said. To him, however, no one saw him ". 25 then Jesus said to them: "As thou art without intelligence and slow to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26 does the Christ should suffer all this for entering your glory? " 27 and beginning with Moses and the Prophets, he explained to his disciples all passages of Scripture that talked about him. 28 when they arrived near the village where they were going, Jesus did that account would later. 29 They, however, insisted to Jesus, saying, "stay with us, because it's late and the night comes coming!" Jesus came to stay with them. 30 when he sat at the table with them, he took bread, blessed it, broke it and distributed them. 31 That the disciples ' eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus. Jesus, however, disappeared from the front of them. 32 Then one said to the other: "I wasn't burning our heart when he spoke to us on the way and explained the Scriptures to us?" 33 in that same time, they got up and went back to Jerusalem where they found the eleven gathered together with the others. 34 and they confirmed: "Truly, the Lord is risen and has appeared to Simon!" 35 So the two told what had happened on the road, and how they had recognized Jesus in the breaking of the bread.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
Jesus walks with us, but it happens to us, many times what happened also with the disciples, who were like that blind and could not see or recognize Jesus, who was walking beside them. Sometimes we're so blind, appalled at the problems, the difficulties and the torments of life, which do not recognize even the person next to us. People sometimes walk with us, live with us for so long and we say: "Wow! I didn't know that person. ". The disciples walked with Jesus, lived with him and could not recognize him. Were as blind. You know, my brothers, blindness is a very serious weakness, because it keeps our eyes blindfolded, closed and hidden. Don't see the truth is on our side, we don't see God who walks with us, we do not see the word of God which directs us. We are not able to see the loving presence of God among us. The remedy of Jesus, their pedagogy to heal our blindness, first, is to lead the way of the Holy Scriptures. She can open our eyes! Now, the sublime and excellent mode to recognize the presence of Jesus among us is his own body and blood, the Eucharist! How many times do we approach this Holy table, we eat this Bread and drink this Wine, but do not recognize Jesus. To make a communion, but is simply not know. It must be recognized, meet him in the Eucharist. The word is always with the Eucharist and cannot be celebrated without her. The Eucharist is not the Eucharist if the word is not proclaimed on her. The word and the Eucharist to open our minds and our hearts, so that we can see and recognize, so that our hearts can also burn with the wonderful presence of Jesus is among us.
