Ter um coração despojado para servir - Jo 12, 1-11

Have a heart stripped to serve - Jo 12, 1-11

1 Seis dias antes da Páscoa, Jesus foi a Betânia, onde morava Lázaro, que ele havia ressuscitado dos mortos. 2 Ali ofereceram a Jesus um jantar; Marta servia e Lázaro era um dos que estavam à mesa com ele. 3 Maria, tomando quase meio litro de perfume de nardo puro e muito caro, ungiu os pés de Jesus e enxugou-os com seus cabelos. A casa inteira ficou cheia do perfume do bálsamo. 4 Então, falou Judas Iscariotes, um dos seus discípulos, aquele que o havia de entregar: 5 “Por que não se vendeu este perfume por trezentas moedas de prata, para dá-las aos pobres?” 6 Judas falou assim, não porque se preocupasse com os pobres, mas porque era ladrão; ele tomava conta da bolsa comum e roubava o que se depositava nela. 7 Jesus, porém, disse: “Deixa-a; ela fez isto em vista do dia da minha sepultura. 8 Pobres, sempre os tereis convosco, enquanto a mim, nem sempre me tereis”. 9 Muitos judeus, tendo sabido que Jesus estava em Betânia, foram para lá, não só por causa de Jesus, mas também para verem Lázaro, que Jesus ressuscitara dos mortos. 10 Então, os sumos sacerdotes decidiram matar também Lázaro, 11 porque por causa dele, muitos deixavam os judeus e acreditavam em Jesus.

1 Six days before Easter, Jesus went to Bethany, where Lazarus lived, he had risen from the dead. 2 There they offered Jesus a dinner; Martha served, and Lazarus was one of those who were at the table. 3 Mary, taking nearly half a litre of perfume of pure Nard, very expensive, Anoints Jesus ' feet and wiped them with her hair. The whole House was filled with the scent of Balsam. 4 so did Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples, one that would deliver: 5 "why don't you sell this perfume for 300 pieces of silver, to give to the poor?" 6 Judas said, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief; He took care of the common purse and stole what had her. 7 but Jesus said: "let her; She did this for the day of my burial. 8 Poor, always you will have with you, as for me, I don't always have ye ". 9 Many Jews, having known that Jesus was in Bethany, were there, not only because of Jesus, but also to see Lazarus, Jesus bring the dead. 10 so the high priests have decided to kill Lazarus also, 11 because for him, many left the Jews and believed in Jesus.

Refletindo

Como seria bom e, é de fato, necessário nos colocarmos inteiros aos pés de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo! Sabe, as pessoas se voltam para Jesus mas, muitas vezes, voltam-se pela metade, voltam-se só de espírito, voltam-se com uma coisa ou outra. Mas, precisamos ir com o corpo, com a alma, com o espírito, com nossos bens e posses. Precisamos nos despojar, colocar-nos inteiros e sem reservas ao coração de Jesus, aos Seus pés. O que Maria fez é contraditório ao que Judas, que era discípulo de Jesus, não fez e está repreendendo. “Como essa mulher faz isso? Esse perfume vale trezentas moedas de pratas. Podemos dá-las aos pobres”. Não quer dizer que Judas esteja preocupado em ajudar os pobres. Ele é avarento, é apegado ao dinheiro, só se preocupa consigo. Desculpe-me, temos uma sociedade, um mundo em que vivemos onde há pessoas que só se preocupam com o dinheiro. E preocupam-se não porque são pessoas econômicas. Não! São pessoas avarentas, elas não são capazes do pouco ou do muito que têm, ter um coração despojado para servir a Deus e ao próximo, para ajudar as pessoas. São sempre assim, desculpe-me a expressão, com a mão fechada, porque, não é a mão que se fecha, mas é o coração, é o coração que se apega. E aí essas pessoas não sabem ser livres. É o que acontece com este discípulo de Jesus, chamado Judas. Ele é a contradição do despojamento, não é aquela pessoa que simplesmente gasta tudo o que tem. Não estamos falando disso não! Estamos falando de pessoas despojadas, pessoas generosas, pessoas que dão o melhor de si para os outros e para Deus. Não podemos ser discípulos de Judas. Somos discípulos de Jesus que deu tudo de si, e a si por inteiro para salvar a humanidade. Não tenhamos receio de sermos despojados, porque, assim foi o nosso Mestre!

What Mary did is contradictory to what Judas, who was disciple of Jesus, did not and is scolding. "As this woman do that? This perfume is worth 300 silver coins. We can give them to the poor ". Not to say that Judas is worried about helping the poor. He is greedy, is attached to the money, just care about you. Excuse me, we have a society, a world in which we live where there are people who only care about the money. And worry not because they are people. No! Are greedy people, they are not capable of the little or much we have to have a heart to serve God and stripped to the next, to help people. Are always so forgive me the expression, with his hand cupped, because, it's not the hand that closes, but is the heart, the heart that clings. And then these people don't know how to be free. That's what happens with this disciple of Jesus, called Judas. He is the contradiction of simplicity, is not the person who simply spend all you have. We're not talking about that. We're talking about people deprived, generous people, people who give the best of themselves to others and to God. We can't be disciples of Judas. We are disciples of Jesus who gave all of you, and to you all to save humanity. We have no fear of being robbed, because that was our master!
