Visit to serve.

1a.Leitura - Sf 3,14-18

1st Reading - Sf 3,14-18
Prophecy of Zephaniah.
14 Sing of joy, city of Zion; rejoice, people of Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all my heart, the city of Jerusalem. 15 the Lord overturned the judgment against you, your enemies; the King of Israel is the Lord, he is in the midst of you, never fear evil. 16 that day, if you say to Jerusalem: "fear not, Zion, don't let yourself be carried away by the dismay! 17 the Lord, your God, is in the midst of you, the brave warrior who saves; He will rejoice with joy for you, moved by love; will rejoice for you, between praise, 18 how on feast days. Walk away from you the disgrace, for which I never cause humiliation ".

Evangelho
-
Lc 1,39-56
Doravante todas as gerações me chamarão bem-aventurada, 49 porque o Todo-poderoso fez grandes coisas em meu favor.

Gospel - Lc 1,39-56
39 in those days, Maria went to the mountainous region, addressing, hastily, a city of Judea. 40 entered the House of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. 41 When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the child leaped in your womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 With a great cry exclaimed, "blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb!" 43 How do I deserve that the mother of my Lord should come to see me? 44 as soon as your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy. 45 blessed that I believed, because will be fulfilled what you promised ". 46 Maria said: "my soul doth magnify the Lord, 47 and my spirit rejoices in God, my Saviour, 48 because look at the humility of your servant. Henceforth all generations will call me blessed, 49 because the Almighty has done great things in my favor. The your name is holy, 50 and your mercy extends from generation to generation, to those who fear him. 51 He has shown the strength of your arm: scattered the proud of heart. 52 Dropped the throne the powerful and the humble. 53 filled with the hungry, and fired the rich empty-handed. 54 Helped Israel, your servant, remembering your mercy, 55 as promised to our fathers, to Abraham and to your descendants forever. " 56 Mary stayed with Elizabeth about three months; After he returned home.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
We celebrate today the feast of the visitation of Mary to your cousin Elizabeth. See, it's a party for Mary, the mother of Jesus, the one who was chosen to be the mother of the Savior, was pregnant by the work of the Holy Spirit. She could have been standing there, contemplating God, contemplating your pregnancy, taking care of your stuff, but left to go to your cousin, your cousin Elizabeth, who was on the other side of Judea. She climbed mountains and went to meet her to visit her, care for her and be with her. Mary was taking what I had in you, because she was the bearer of grace, had Jesus and was taking him to your cousin. We need to meet each other, we need to get out of comfortable situations that often met. We are very stagnant, standing on our stuff. It is regrettable that, in the days in which we live, don't visit each other, we're not going to our next, our neighbors, our brother, our relative and so on. If there is a blessed thing, Holy and sacred, in this life, is to visit. So we're going to visit the other? It's not to put the gossip, not to speak ill of the lives of others, is not to speculate as Guy's, as he is, if you're more Rico or poorer. I'm sorry, but these visits are not of God. We need to visit one another to take our love for him, to take our fraternal presence, the God that we have in us to our next meeting. A good visit is a Holy medicine, because she has the heart, revives the gift of love, light the flame of grace. How blessed that I know take the time you do not have to meet the other. Let's do the same that Mary be a gift, be bearers of grace and of the gift of God to the next.
