1a.Leitura - At 12,24-13,5a
Livro Atos dos Apóstolos.

Naqueles dias, 24 a palavra do Senhor crescia e se espalhava cada vez mais. 25 Barnabé e Saulo, tendo concluído seu ministério, voltaram de Jerusalém, trazendo consigo João, chamado Marcos. 13,1 Na Igreja de Antioquia, havia profetas e doutores. Eram eles: Barnabé, Simeão, chamado o Negro, Lúcio de Cirene, Manaém, que fora criado junto com Herodes, e Saulo. 2 Um dia, enquanto celebravam a liturgia, em honra do Senhor, e jejuavam, o Espírito Santo disse: “Separai para mim Barnabé e Saulo, a fim de fazerem o trabalho para o qual eu os chamei”. 3 Então eles jejuaram e rezaram, impuseram as mãos sobre Barnabé e Saulo, e deixaram-nos partir. 4 Enviados pelo Espírito Santo, Barnabé e Saulo desceram a Selêucia e daí navegaram para Chipre. 5a Quando chegaram a Salamina, começaram a anunciar a Palavra de Deus nas sinagogas dos judeus. Eles tinham João como ajudante.

Evangelho - Jo 12,44-50

Naquele tempo, 44 Jesus exclamou em alta voz: “Quem crê em mim não é em mim que crê, mas naquele que me enviou. 45 Quem me vê, vê aquele que me enviou. 46 Eu vim ao mundo como luz, para que todo aquele que crê em mim não permaneça nas trevas. 47 Se alguém ouvir as minhas palavras e não as observar, eu não o julgo, porque eu não vim para julgar o mundo, mas para salvá-lo. 48 Quem me rejeita e não aceita as minhas palavras já tem o seu juiz: a palavra que eu falei o julgará no último dia. 49 Porque eu não falei por mim mesmo, mas o Pai, que me enviou, ele é quem me ordenou o que eu devia dizer e falar. 50 E eu sei que o Seu mandamento é vida eterna. Portanto, o que eu digo, eu o digo conforme o Pai me falou”.

Gospel - Jo 12,44-50

Refletindo o Evangelho

A luz tudo clareia, ilumina, dá firmeza, direção, proximidade e certeza. A escuridão nos leva a nos machucarmos, a tropeçarmos e cairmos; ela nos leva aos abismos e tropeços da vida, para a escuridão eterna. Precisamos viver e caminhar na luz. Por isso, quando olho para Jesus, vou até Ele buscar a luz de que eu preciso para tantas coisas que, dentro de mim, estão obscuras, caminhos que não entendo, situações que eu não sei resolver, estradas que eu não sei por onde caminhar, que direção tomar. A primeira coisa: recolha-se na sobriedade do Espírito Santo. Não encontramos luz quando tudo está muito agitado, acalorado e efervescente. A luz de Deus traz calma e sobriedade para o Espírito. No entanto, não fiquemos só no comparativo, tragamos isso para a vida prática. A luz de Deus é direção para nossa vida, e a direção de que a nossa vida precisa é sobriedade, temperança e calma. A calma nos faz fugir, muitas vezes, desse modo agitado que nos faz resolver tantas coisas. E quando fazemos tudo de forma agitada e brusca, quando nos atropelamos, é porque falta a luz, que é Jesus, uma luz que traz serenidade à nossa alma e ao nosso coração. Quem crê em Jesus não permanece nas trevas, não permanece nas dúvidas nem na escuridão. Até podemos passar por caminhos escuros, caminhar nas dúvidas e incertezas da vida, mas não permanecermos nelas, porque a luz de Jesus vai iluminando o nosso caminhar e dando direção à vida. Não posso querer viver em Jesus e caminhar em meio às falsas luzes que o mundo nos dá, mas quando eu permito que Jesus seja luz para minha vida, Ele me aponta o caminho e a direção que devo seguir!

The first thing: collect in sobriety of the Holy Spirit. We found no light when everything is very choppy, heated and effervescent. The light of God brings calm and sobriety to the spirit. However, let's not stay only in the comparative, bring it to the practical life. The light of God's direction for our lives, and the direction that our life needs is sobriety, temperance and calm. Calm makes us run often, so agitated that makes us solve so many things. And when we do it all so jumpy and brusque, when we hit, is because the light that is Jesus, a light that brings serenity to our soul and our heart. Whoever believes in Jesus does not remain in darkness, does not remain in doubt even in the dark. We can even go through dark paths, walk in the doubts and uncertainties of life, but you don't stay in them, because the light of Jesus will light up our walk and giving direction to life. I can't live in Jesus and walk amid the false lights the world gives us, but when I let Jesus be light to my life, he points the way and direction that I must follow.
