Tends courage! I have conquered the world.

Leitura dos Atos dos Apóstolos.
1 Enquanto
Apolo estava em Corinto, Paulo atravessou as regiões montanhosas e
chegou a Éfeso. Aí encontrou alguns discípulos e perguntou-lhes: 2 “Vós
recebestes o Espírito Santo quando abraçastes a fé?” Eles responderam:
8 Paulo
1st Reading - At 19, 1-8
Reading the acts of the Apostles.
1 while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the mountainous regions and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples and asked them: 2 "You receive the Holy Spirit when you have embraced the faith?" They answered: "not even heard that there is a holy spirit." 3 then Paul asked: "What baptism you receive?" They answered: "the baptism of John. 4 Paul said to them: "John was a baptism, saying to the people that believe in what would come after him, that is, in Jesus." 5 having heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 Paulo laid their hands on them and descended the Holy Spirit. They began to speak in tongues and to prophesy. 7 in all, were about a dozen men. 8 Paul was so to the synagogue and, during three months, spoke with all conviction, arguing and trying to convince the listeners about the Kingdom of God.

Evangelho - Jo 16,29-33
No mundo, tereis tribulações. Mas tende coragem! Eu venci o mundo!”
Gospel - Jo 16,29-33
At that time, 29 the disciples said to Jesus: "Behold, now you speak clearly and not use more pictures. 30 now we know that you know everything and you don't need someone to interrogate. By this we believe that you came from God. " 31 Jesus answered, "do you believe now? 32 behold, he cometh the hour – and has arrived-you dispersareis, every one for your side, and I just go. But I'm not alone; the father is with me. 33 tell you these things that you may have peace in me. In the world ye shall have tribulation. But courage! I have conquered the world! "
Refletindo o Evangelho
Reflecting the GospelPeace doesn't mean you don't have problems, but it's just the opposite. The Lord is telling us that, in the world, we will have trials, difficulties and many problems, but there is a big difference, because I can face my problems with peace and without peace. And it becomes really a big problem, because if I don't have to deal with my difficulties with my problems, with the tribulations of life, it really becomes a great anguish. Now, if I have the peace that comes from the heart of God, I have serenity, temper and the grace of God to deal with everything in your time. The problems don't steal or I will, but, in the peace that comes from the heart of God, I face problems and difficulties. The Lord is saying: "Courage!". No discouraged, sad, discouraged, no surrender, to prostrate themselves, saying "there's no way, my life is over". This is for those who do not know God, for those who do not know his word. The problems are not the first nor the last word in our lives. Jesus has the first, last, middle, in all situations we live in! Jesus gives the peace which we all need, every day, to deal with the situations each time. May the peace of the Lord be radiating in our soul, in our heart, to win the world every day.
