Climb to my Father

1a.Leitura - At 2,36-41

No dia de Pentecostes, Pedro disse aos judeus: 36 “Que todo o povo de Israel reconheça com plena certeza: Deus constituiu Senhor e Cristo a este Jesus que vós crucificastes”. 37 Quando ouviram isso, eles ficaram com o coração aflito, e perguntaram a Pedro e aos outros apóstolos: “Irmãos, que devemos fazer?” 38 Pedro respondeu: “Convertei-vos e cada um de vós seja batizado em nome de Jesus Cristo, para o perdão dos vossos pecados. E vós recebereis o dom do Espírito Santo. 39 Pois a promessa é para vós e vossos filhos, e para todos aqueles que estão longe, todos aqueles que o Senhor nosso Deus chamar para si”. 40 Com muitas outras palavras, Pedro lhes dava testemunho, e os exortava, dizendo: “Salvai-vos dessa gente corrompida!” 41 Os que aceitaram as palavras de Pedro receberam o batismo. Naquele dia, mais ou menos três mil pessoas se uniram a eles.

1st Reading - Gn 1,1–2,2

Evangelho - Jo 20,11-18

Naquele tempo, 11 Maria estava do lado de fora do túmulo, chorando. Enquanto chorava, inclinou-se e olhou para dentro do túmulo. 12 Viu, então, dois anjos vestidos de branco, sentados onde tinha sido posto o corpo de Jesus, um à cabeceira e outro aos pés. 13 Os anjos perguntaram: “Mulher, por que choras?” Ela respondeu: “Levaram o meu Senhor e não sei onde o colocaram”. 14 Tendo dito isto, Maria voltou-se para trás e viu Jesus, de pé. Mas não sabia que era Jesus. 15 Jesus perguntou-lhe: “Mulher, por que choras? A quem procuras?” Pensando que era o jardineiro, Maria disse: “Senhor, se foste tu que o levaste dize-me onde o colocaste, e eu o irei buscar”. 16 Então Jesus disse: “Maria!” Ela voltou-se e exclamou, em hebraico: “Rabuni” (que quer dizer: Mestre). 17J esus disse: “Não me segures. Ainda não subi para junto do Pai. Mas vai dizer aos meus irmãos: subo para junto do meu Pai e vosso Pai, meu Deus e vosso Deus”. 18 Então Maria Madalena foi anunciar aos discípulos: “Eu vi o Senhor!”, e contou o que Jesus lhe tinha dito.

Gospel - Mt 28, 1-10
At that time, 11 Mary was outside the Tomb weeping. While crying, leaned over and looked into the Tomb. 12 see, then, two angels in white, sitting where he had been put the body of Jesus, one at the head and the other at the feet. 13 Angels asked: "Woman, why weepest thou?" Refletindo o Evangelho

Maria estava chorando porque procurava a razão da sua vida e os homens haviam-No levado. Mas ela O queria, mesmo que fosse apenas o Seu corpo. Sabe, também choramos muito na vida. Cada um têm a sua razão para chorar, cada um têm os motivos para sua tristeza. Mas choramos e ficamos desconsolados e, às vezes, deixamo-nos consolar por consolos humanos, momentâneos, que nos levam depois a viver outras tristezas na vida. Precisamos do consolo pleno, precisamos encontrar Aquele que é a razão maior da alegria, da bênção, da nossa própria existência. Maria encontrou e sua vida nunca mais foi a mesma! Desde que encontrou Jesus, ela fez d’Ele a razão maior da sua vida. Não basta apenas nos encontrarmos com Jesus Ressuscitado. Precisamos nos encontrar com Cristo e permitir que Ele seja a razão maior da nossa vida. É preciso permitir que Ele alegre definitivamente e plenamente o nosso coração, a nossa vida e nossa existência. É preciso fazer de Jesus o senhor da nossa vida! O nosso coração não será mais o mesmo, a nossa vida não será mais a mesma. As nossas lágrimas poderão ser derramadas, mas serão consoladas e enxugadas pelo próprio Cristo. Não podemos perdê-Lo. E se ainda não O encontramos, precisamos encontrá-Lo e fazer como Maria Madalena fez: testemunhar para todos que Jesus está vivo e é o Senhor. Levemos a todos a Boa Nova da ressurreição de Jesus.

Reflecting the Gospel

You need to allow it to fully and definitely our joyful heart, our life and our existence. It is necessary to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Our heart will no longer be the same, our life will never be the same. Our tears will be shed, but will be consoled and enxugadas by Christ himself. We can't lose him. And if you still can't find it, we need to find him and do as Mary Magdalene did: witness to all that Jesus is alive and is the Lord. Take all the good news of the resurrection of Jesus.
