23 Naqueles
dias, logo que foram postos em liberdade, Pedro e João voltaram para
junto dos irmãos e contaram tudo o que os sumos sacerdotes e os anciãos
haviam dito. 24 Ao ouvirem o relato, todos eles elevaram
a voz a Deus, dizendo: “Senhor, tu criaste o céu, a terra, o mar e tudo
o que neles existe. 25 Por meio do Espírito Santo,
disseste através do teu servo Davi, nosso pai: ‘por que se enfureceram
as nações, e os povos imaginaram coisas vãs? 26 Os reis da terra se insurgem e os príncipes conspiram unidos contra o Senhor e contra o seu Messias’. 27 Foi
assim que aconteceu nesta cidade: Herodes e Pôncio Pilatos uniram-se
com os pagãos e os povos de Israel contra Jesus, teu santo servo, a quem
ungiste, 28 a fim de executarem tudo o que a tua mão e a tua vontade haviam predeterminado que sucedesse. 29 Agora, Senhor, olha as ameaças que fazem e concede que os teus servos anunciem corajosamente a tua palavra. 30 Estende a mão para que se realizem curas, sinais e prodígios por meio do teu santo servo Jesus”. 31 Quando
terminaram a oração, tremeu o lugar onde estavam reunidos. Todos,
então, ficaram cheios do Espírito Santo e anunciaram corajosamente a
palavra de Deus.
1st Reading - At 4,23-31
23 in those days, as soon as they were released, Peter and John returned to the brethren and told all the high priests and the elders had said. 24 To hear the story, they all raised the voice of God, saying: "Lord, you created the heaven, the Earth, the sea, and all that in them is there. 25 through the Holy Spirit, said through thy servant David, our father: ' why do you incensed, Nations and peoples imagined vain things? 26 the Kings of the Earth and reunited the Princes conspire together against the Lord and against your Messiah. 27 Was the way it happened in this town: Herod and Pontius Pilate teamed up with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed, 28 in order to perform whatever your hand and your will were predetermined that succeeded. 29 Now, Lord, look at the threats that make grants to thy servants and announce boldly your Word. 30 reaches out for taking place healings, signs and wonders through your holy servant Jesus. Evangelho - Jo 3,1-81 Havia um chefe judaico, membro do grupo dos fariseus, chamado Nicodemos, 2 que foi ter com Jesus, de noite, e lhe disse: “Rabi, sabemos que vieste como mestre da parte de Deus. De fato, ninguém pode realizar os sinais que tu fazes, a não ser que Deus esteja com ele”. 3 Jesus respondeu: “Em verdade, em verdade, te digo, se alguém não nasce do alto, não pode ver o Reino de Deus”. 4 Nicodemos disse: “Como é que alguém pode nascer, se já é velho? Poderá entrar outra vez no ventre de sua mãe?” 5 Jesus respondeu: “Em verdade, em verdade, te digo, se alguém não nasce da água e do Espírito, não pode entrar no Reino de Deus. 6 Quem nasce da carne é carne; quem nasce do Espírito é espírito. 7 Não te admires por eu haver dito: Vós deveis nascer do alto. 8 O vento sopra onde quer e tu podes ouvir o seu ruído, mas não sabes de onde vem, nem para onde vai. Assim acontece a todo aquele que nasceu do Espírito”.
Gospel - Jo 3,1-8
1 there was a Jewish member of the Chief group of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, 2 that came to Jesus at night and said to him: "Rabbi, we know that you came as master on the part of God. In fact, anyone can perform the signs that you do unless God is with him. " 3 Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, if someone is not born from above, cannot see the Kingdom of God". 4 Nicodemus said: "How can anyone be born, if it's old? " 5 Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, unless one is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. 6 Who is born of the flesh is flesh; who is born of the spirit is spirit. 7 don't be surprised for I have said: you must be born from above. 8 the wind blows where it wishes, and you can hear your noise, but you don't know where it came from, nor where it goes. Tenhamos coragem, audácia, determinação, para testemunharmos onde quer que estejamos a Palavra do Senhor Nosso Deus. Infelizmente, muitas vezes, estamos com medo, encontramo-nos numa
situação de covardia, encontramo-nos paralisados por nossas
doenças, nossos medos interiores, paralisados por nossas brigas e
disputas e não estamos anunciando ao mundo que Cristo está vivo e
ressuscitado. A Igreja não pode parar! Somos a Igreja de Cristo, somos os
discípulos, os apóstolos de hoje e precisamos dessa audácia. Precisamos
em nossa casa, em nossa família, em nosso trabalho, na política, na
sociedade, testemunhar que Cristo está vivo. Precisamos destes sinais
carismáticos, mas precisamos clamar para que Deus realize curas, sinais e
prodígios por meio de Jesus. Não podemos, sabendo que Cristo está vivo, viver como se Ele
estivesse morto. Toda a nossa vida precisa ser uma prova viva de que Jesus está vivo. O mundo vai também se encontrar com o Ressuscitado através de
nós! Por isso, clamemos ao Alto para que tenhamos a audácia necessária
de proclamar Jesus vivo no meio de nós.

Reflecting the Gospel
Have courage, boldness, determination, to witness wherever the word of the Lord our God. Unfortunately, many times, we are afraid, we are in a situation of cowardice, we find ourselves paralyzed by our diseases, our inner fears, paralyzed by fights and disputes and we're not announcing to the world that Christ is alive and risen. The Church cannot stop! We are the Church of Christ, are the disciples, the Apostles of today and we need that audacity. We need it in our House, in our family, in our work, in politics, in society, testify that Christ is alive. We need these charismatic signs, but we need to cry out to God to perform healings, signs and wonders through Jesus. We can't, knowing that Christ is alive, living as if he were dead. All our lives need to be living proof that Jesus is alive. The world will also meet with the risen Christ through us!
