Reflection
Impor as mãos abençoando é um grandioso gesto de invocação do poder de Deus. Ao rezar pelos pequenos amigos, Jesus os recomenda ao Pai, como que garantindo para eles um futuro promissor e feliz. Nós, cristãos adultos, precisamos reconquistar essa abertura para Deus e seu projeto, e ser agentes das bênçãos divinas. Não precisamos, pois, ficar acanhados quando alguém nos pede a bênção. A bênção é de Deus. Somos apenas instrumentos para que sua bênção envolva o mundo.
Reflection
Laying on hands in blessing is a great gesture of invoking the power of God. When praying for small friends, Jesus recommends them to the Father, as if guaranteeing them a promising and happy future. We, adult Christians, need to regain that openness to God and his project, and to be agents of divine blessings. Therefore, we do not need to be shy when someone asks us for a blessing. The blessing is from God. We are just instruments for your blessing to envelop the world.

Jesus, children feel good around you, and you value and point them out as role models for all of us, “because theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven”. Give us, Lord, the simplicity of children and open hearts to accept your message of love and the demands of the Kingdom. Amen.

Num momento em que mudaram os modos de transmissão da fé, a Igreja procura decifrar alguns sinais dos tempos com os quais o Senhor lhe indica o caminho a seguir.
