Maria, / no teu caminho o que havia? / Vi Cristo ressuscitado, / o túmulo abandonado! – Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo João 20,1-2.11-18 – 1No primeiro dia da semana, Maria Madalena foi ao túmulo de Jesus, bem de madrugada, quando ainda estava escuro, e viu que a pedra tinha sido retirada do túmulo. 2Então ela saiu correndo e foi encontrar Simão Pedro e o outro discípulo, aquele que Jesus amava, e lhes disse: “Tiraram o Senhor do túmulo, e não sabemos onde o colocaram”. 11Maria estava do lado de fora do túmulo, chorando. Enquanto chorava, inclinou-se e olhou para dentro do túmulo. 12Viu, então, dois anjos vestidos de branco, sentados onde tinha sido posto o corpo de Jesus, um à cabeceira e outro aos pés. 13Os anjos perguntaram: “Mulher, por que choras?” Ela respondeu: “Levaram o meu Senhor e não sei onde o colocaram”. 14Tendo dito isso, Maria voltou-se para trás e viu Jesus, de pé. Mas não sabia que era Jesus. 15Jesus perguntou-lhe: “Mulher, por que choras? A quem procuras?” Pensando que era o jardineiro, Maria disse: “Senhor, se foste tu que o levaste, dize-me onde o colocaste, e eu o irei buscar”. 16Então Jesus disse: “Maria!” Ela voltou-se e exclamou em hebraico: “Rabunni” (que quer dizer “mestre”). 17Jesus disse: “Não me segures. Ainda não subi para junto do Pai. Mas vai dizer aos meus irmãos: subo para junto do meu Pai e vosso Pai, meu Deus e vosso Deus”. 18Então Maria Madalena foi anunciar aos discípulos: “Eu vi o Senhor!” e contou o que Jesus lhe tinha dito. – Palavra da salvação.

Maria, / in your way what was there? / I saw the risen Christ, / the abandoned tomb! - Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 20.1-2.11-18 - 1On the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene went to Jesus' tomb, very early in the morning, when it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb . 2So she ran and went to meet Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said to them, "They took the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they put him." 11Maria was outside the tomb, crying. While crying, he leaned over and looked into the grave. 12 Then he saw two angels dressed in white, sitting where Jesus' body had been placed, one at the head and one at the feet. 13The angels asked, "Woman, why are you crying?" She turned and exclaimed in Hebrew: "Rabunni" (which means "master"). 17Jesus said: “Do not hold me back. I have not yet gone up to the Father. But he will say to my brothers: I am going up to my Father and your Father, my God and your God ”. 18Then Mary Magdalene went to announce to the disciples: “I saw the Lord!” and told what Jesus had said to him. - Word of salvation.

Reflection 

Maria de Magdala é a mulher que seguiu Jesus desde a Galileia até a Judeia. Esteve presente à morte e ao sepultamento de Jesus. Enquanto chorava por não encontrar o amigo morto, Jesus ressuscitado se dirige a ela chamando-a pelo nome “Maria”. Ao reconhecer o Mestre, acaba o choro, e a alegria inunda-lhe o ser. Jesus lhe confia o anúncio do grande mistério: “Vá encontrar os meus irmãos e diga a eles: ‘Eu estou subindo para junto do meu Pai e Pai de vocês, do meu Deus e Deus de vocês'”. Esta é Boa Notícia do Ressuscitado, de quem ela é testemunha ocular e fidedigna: “Eu vi o Senhor”.

Reflection 

Mary of Magdala is the woman who followed Jesus from Galilee to Judea. He was present at the death and burial of Jesus. While crying for not finding her dead friend, the risen Jesus addresses her by calling her by the name "Mary". Upon recognizing the Master, crying ends, and joy floods his being. Jesus entrusts him with the announcement of the great mystery: "Go and find my brothers and tell them: 'I am going up to my Father and your Father, my God and your God'". This is Good News of the Risen One, of whom she is an eyewitness and trustworthy: "I saw the Lord".
