Quem me ama, realmente, guardará minha Palavra, / e meu Pai o amará, e a ele nós viremos (Jo 14,23). – Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus 12,46-50 – Naquele tempo, 46enquanto Jesus estava falando às multidões, sua mãe e seus irmãos ficaram do lado de fora, procurando falar com ele. 47Alguém disse a Jesus: “Olha! Tua mãe e teus irmãos estão aí fora e querem falar contigo”. 48Jesus perguntou àquele que tinha falado: “Quem é minha mãe e quem são meus irmãos?” 49E, estendendo a mão para os discípulos, Jesus disse: “Eis minha mãe e meus irmãos. 50Pois todo aquele que faz a vontade do meu Pai, que está nos céus, esse é meu irmão, minha irmã e minha mãe”. – Palavra da salvação.

Whoever loves me will really keep my Word, / and my Father will love him, and we will come to him (Jn 14:23). - Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 12, 46-50 - At that time, while Jesus was speaking to the crowds, his mother and his brothers stayed outside, trying to talk to him. 47Someone said to Jesus, “Look! Your mother and your brothers are out there and want to talk to you ”. 48Jesus asked the one who had spoken, "Who is my mother and who are my brothers?" 49And, reaching out to the disciples, Jesus said: “Here is my mother and my brothers. 50For everyone who does the will of my Father in heaven, this is my brother, my sister and my mother ”. - Word of salvation.

Reflexão

Somos muito presos aos círculos humanos e sociais e, é óbvio que, aos círculos e laços familiares. No Reino de Deus é diferente, nele não é levado em conta os círculos familiares, porque, se dependesse da família de Jesus, muitos não O acolheram, não O receberam, muitos até O desprezaram e quiseram lança-Lo fora. O Reino de Deus não são as aparências, os rótulos religiosos. Sei que, muitas vezes, a pessoa quer se engrandecer pelos títulos: “Sou isso na Igreja”; “Faço isso”; “Faço aquilo”; “Já estou há tantos anos servindo”… Para Deus não serve nada disso. O que prende alguém a Jesus é a vontade de Deus. Se somos guiados mais por nossas vontades e desejos humanos, a vontade de Deus é aniquilada ou instrumentalizada em favor do nosso querer e, muitos de nós, vivemos às chamadas “confusões religiosas”, que não são poucas, são muitas, basta ver o universo de religiões que estão pregando, falando; basta ver às confusões dentro dos nossos grupos de Igreja, e assim por diante. Porque todo mundo se sente conhecedor e detentor da vontade de Deus. Quem sou eu para determinar que isso é a vontade de Deus? Quando estão ali dizendo: “Jesus, seus parentes estão ali fora”. Quem é mesmo de Jesus? É Aquele que se rende para a vontade do Pai. A vontade do Pai é algo a ser buscado com oração, com muita humildade, mas, acima de tudo, submissão à Palavra de Deus.

Reflection

We are very attached to human and social circles and, of course, to family circles and ties. It is different in the Kingdom of God, family circles are not taken into account, because if it depended on the family of Jesus, many did not welcome Him, did not receive Him, many even despised Him and wanted to throw Him out. The Kingdom of God is not appearances, religious labels. I know that, many times, the person wants to be magnified by the titles: “I am that in the Church”; "I do this"; "I do that"; “I've been serving for so many years”… For God, it doesn't serve any of that. What binds someone to Jesus is the will of God. If we are guided more by our human desires and desires, God's will is annihilated or instrumentalized in favor of our will and, many of us, we live in the so-called “religious confusions”, which are not few, are many, just look at the universe of religions that are preaching, speaking; just look at the confusion within our Church groups, and so on. Because everyone feels knowledgeable and in possession of God's will. Who am I to determine that this is God's will? When they are there saying, "Jesus, your relatives are out there." Who is Jesus really? He is the One who surrenders to the Father's will. The Father's will is something to be sought with prayer, with great humility, but, above all, submission to the Word of God.
