Não cairão os dois num buraco? 40Um discípulo não é maior do que o mestre; todo discípulo bem formado será como o mestre. 41Por que vês tu o cisco no olho do teu irmão e não percebes a trave que há no teu próprio olho? 42Como podes dizer a teu irmão: ‘Irmão, deixa-me tirar o cisco do teu olho’, quando tu não vês a trave no teu próprio olho? Hipócrita! Tira primeiro a trave do teu olho e então poderás enxergar bem para tirar o cisco do olho do teu irmão”. – Palavra da salvação.

Falta-nos capacidade para conhecermos o que se passa no íntimo de outra pessoa. Qualquer juízo está sujeito a não corresponder à verdade. Isso, conforme a gravidade, pode configurar-se como calúnia, certamente um dos maiores pecados do ser humano. Em geral somos compassivos e benévolos com nossos próprios erros e “carrascos” em relação aos defeitos dos outros. Jesus nos ensina a considerar primeiro o mal que existe em nós. Então seremos mais compreensivos e mais tolerantes em relação ao próximo. O famoso pensador chinês Confúcio dizia: “Quando vires um homem bom, tenta imitá-lo; quando vires um homem mau, examina-te a ti mesmo”. Quando enxergamos um defeito em nossos semelhantes não será porque ele já existe em nós?

We lack the capacity to know what is going on inside someone else. Any judgment is subject to not being true. This, depending on gravity, can be slander, certainly one of the greatest sins of human beings. In general, we are compassionate and benevolent with our own mistakes and "executioners" in relation to the defects of others. Jesus teaches us to first consider the evil that exists in us. Then we will be more understanding and more tolerant of others. The famous Chinese thinker Confucius said: “When you see a good man, try to imitate him; when you see a bad man, examine yourself ”. When we see a defect in our fellow men, is it not because it already exists in us?

Quando tal é possível, a comunidade eclesial deve saber dialogar com os pais, apoiando-os na sua função de educar; além disso, procure tornar-se presente e disponível para demonstrar sempre zelo materno e cuidados concretos: este será o primeiro e fundamental anúncio da bondade providente de Deus.

When this is possible, the ecclesial community must know how to dialogue with parents, supporting them in their role of educating; moreover, try to become present and available to always demonstrate maternal zeal and concrete care: this will be the first and fundamental announcement of God's provident goodness.
