Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Lucas 5,33-39 – Naquele tempo, 33os fariseus e os mestres da Lei disseram a Jesus: “Os discípulos de João, e também os discípulos dos fariseus, jejuam com frequência e fazem orações. Mas os teus discípulos comem e bebem”. 34Jesus, porém, lhes disse: “Os convidados de um casamento podem fazer jejum enquanto o noivo está com eles? 35Mas dias virão em que o noivo será tirado do meio deles. Então, naqueles dias, eles jejuarão”. 36Jesus contou-lhes ainda uma parábola: “Ninguém tira retalho de roupa nova para fazer remendo em roupa velha; senão vai rasgar a roupa nova, e o retalho novo não combinará com a roupa velha. 37Ninguém coloca vinho novo em odres velhos; porque, senão, o vinho novo arrebenta os odres velhos e se derrama, e os odres se perdem. 38Vinho novo deve ser colocado em odres novos. 39E ninguém, depois de beber vinho velho, deseja vinho novo, porque diz: o velho é melhor”. – Palavra da salvação.

Por que haveriam de fazer jejum os discípulos de Jesus? Eles estão usufruindo da plena presença do Messias (o noivo). O jejum era proposto e observado como sinal de espera da salvação. Ora, o Salvador já está entre eles. A questão é que os mestres da Lei e os fariseus não querem “ver” Jesus, nem reconhecer que ele é o Enviado do Pai para redimir o mundo. Ficam fechados num legalismo paralisante e não se abrem para a Boa-Nova. Não aceitam converter-se para Jesus. Acomodam-se às estruturas antigas, ineficazes, sem o sopro renovador do Espírito.
To think about
Why should Jesus' disciples fast? They are enjoying the full presence of the Messiah (the bridegroom). Fasting was proposed and observed as a sign of waiting for salvation. Now, the Savior is already among them. The point is that the teachers of the Law and the Pharisees do not want to "see" Jesus, nor to recognize that he is the Father's Envoy to redeem the world. They are locked in paralyzing legalism and are not open to the Good News. They do not accept converting to Jesus. They accommodate themselves to old, ineffective structures, without the renewing breath of the Spirit.

No tempo atual, a catequese com as famílias é atravessada pelo querigma, porque também «diante das famílias e no meio delas, deve ressoar sempre de novo o primeiro anúncio, que é o mais belo, mais importante, mais atraente e, ao mesmo tempo, mais necessário e deve ocupar o centro da atividade evangelizadora»6. Além disso, na dinâmica da conversão missionária, a catequese com as famílias é caraterizada por um estilo de compreensão humilde e por um anúncio concreto, não teórico e desligado dos problemas das pessoas. No seu compromisso evangelizador e catequético dirigido ao interior das famílias, a comunidade realiza percursos de fé que a ajudem a ter consciência clara da sua identidade e missão: por isso, acompanha-as e apoia-as na sua tarefa de transmitir a vida; ajuda-as no exercício da sua tarefa originária de educar; e promove uma autêntica espiritualidade familiar. Deste modo, a família torna-se consciente do seu papel e torna-se, na comunidade e juntamente com ela, sujeito ativo da obra de evangelização.

At the present time, catechesis with families is crossed by the kerygma, because also “before families and in their midst, the first announcement, which is the most beautiful, most important, most attractive and, at the at the same time, more necessary and must occupy the center of evangelizing activity »6. Furthermore, in the dynamics of missionary conversion, catechesis with families is characterized by a style of humble understanding and by a concrete, non-theoretical announcement that is disconnected from people's problems. In its evangelizing and catechetical commitment to the interior of families, the community undertakes paths of faith that help it to have a clear awareness of their identity and mission: therefore, accompany them and support them in their task of transmitting life; helps them in the exercise of their original task of educating; and promotes authentic family spirituality. In this way, the family becomes aware of its role and becomes, in the community and together with it, an active subject in the work of evangelization.
