O Espírito da verdade, vos conduzirá à plena verdade.
The Spirit of truth will lead you to full truth.

Evangelho
Aleluia, aleluia, aleluia. Rogarei ao meu Pai, e ele há de enviar-vos um outro paráclito, / que há de permanecer eternamente convosco (Jo 14,16). – Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo João 16,12-15 – Naquele tempo, disse Jesus aos seus discípulos: 12“Tenho ainda muitas coisas a dizer-vos, mas não sois capazes de as compreender agora. 13Quando, porém, vier o Espírito da verdade, ele vos conduzirá à plena verdade. Pois ele não falará por si mesmo, mas dirá tudo o que tiver ouvido; e até as coisas futuras vos anunciará. 14Ele me glorificará, porque receberá do que é meu e vo-lo anunciará. 15Tudo o que o Pai possui é meu. Por isso disse que o que ele receberá e vos anunciará é meu”. – Palavra da salvação.

Gospel
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. I will pray to my Father, and he will send you another paraclitus, / who will remain with you forever (Jn 14,16). - Proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 16,12-15 - At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: 12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you are not able to understand them now. 13When, however, the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you to the full truth. For he will not speak for himself, but he will say everything he has heard; and even future things will announce to you. 14He will glorify me, because he will receive what is mine and will announce it to you. 15 Everything the Father has is mine. That is why I said that what he will receive and will announce to you is mine ”. - Word of salvation.

Reflexão

Os discípulos mergulharam na tristeza, porque haveriam de enfrentar tribulações. Porém, serão beneficiados com a volta de Jesus ao Pai. Jesus tem de ser glorificado antes de enviar o Espírito (cf. Jo 7,39). O Espírito Santo vai esclarecer o significado da obra de Jesus. Mostrará que a sociedade que não acreditou em Jesus e o matou cometeu pecado; que Jesus de fato é inocente, pois veio do Pai e volta ao Pai; que o “chefe deste mundo” (o mal) está condenado. É um julgamento que se prolonga na história. Ao mesmo tempo o Espírito age como defensor dos cristãos e como acusador dos que não creem em Cristo.

Reflection
We are unable to understand many things that Jesus would have to communicate to us; Who will assist us in this task is the Holy Spirit. In this way, as disciples of Jesus, we will not be orphaned or helpless, because the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit will be present and active in the life and mission of every Christian. It is enough that we are open to the signs of the times and to the Holy Spirit, where together we will triumph in this war of good against evil.

Rezando 
Deus Pai, Filho e Espírito Santo ajuda-nos a triunfar contra esta pandemia onde  muitos políticos estão preocupados com seus estados, visando seus próprios interesses e deixam a população a passar fome, falta de emprego e saúde. Dai-nos a paz. Amém.

Praying 

God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit helps us to triumph against this pandemic where many politicians are concerned with their states for their own interests and leave the population to starve, lack of jobs and health. Give us peace. Amen.
