Don't be afraid. Just have faith! - Mc 5, 1-20
sinagoga, e disseram a Jairo: “Tua filha morreu.
então a caçoar dele.
no quarto onde estava a criança.
Biblical Text
At that time, 21 Jesus went through again, on a barge, for the other side. A large crowd gathered around him, and Jesus stood on the beach. 22 approached, then, one of the heads of the synagogue, named Jairo. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet, 23 and asked with insistence: "my baby is on its last legs. Come and put your hands on her so she can heal and live! " 24 Jesus then accompanied him. A great multitude followed him and pressed. 25 Now, was there a woman who, 12 years ago, was bleeding; 26 had suffered at the hands of many doctors, spent everything he had, and, rather than improving, worsened increasingly. 27 Having heard of Jesus, approached him from behind, in the middle of the crowd and touched his clothes. 28 she thought: "if I only touch his clothes, I will be healed." 29 the bleeding stopped immediately, and the woman felt within himself that she was cured of the disease. 30 Jesus soon realized that a force had left him. And, coming in the middle of the crowd, asked: "Who touched my clothes?" 31 the disciples said: "you see the crowd that you compress and you ask, ' who touched me?" 32 but he looked around to see who had done it. 33 the woman, frightened and trembling, realizing what had happened to her, came and fell at the feet of Jesus, and told him the whole truth. 34 he said to him: "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and is cured of this disease ". 35 he was still talking when they came some of the House of the Chief of the synagogue, Jairus was told: "Your daughter died. Why bother the teacher? " 36 Jesus heard the news and told the Chief of the Synagogue: "don't be afraid. Just have faith! " 37 and wouldn't let anyone to accompany him except Peter, James and his brother John. 38 when they reached the House of the Chief of the synagogue, Jesus saw the confusion and how they were crying and screaming. 39 then he came in and said: "why the fuss and cry? The child has not died but is sleeping. " 40 began to tease him. But, he told everyone to leave except the father and the girl's mother, and the three disciples who accompanied him. Then came into the room where the child was. 41 Jesus took the girl's hand and said: "Talita cum." — which means: "Girl, get up!" 42 she got up immediately and began to walk, since he was 12. And everyone raved. 43 he recommended with insistence that no one to know that. And sent to feed the girl.

Refletindo
Reflecting
Take to Jesus not only our sorrows and afflictions, but let us look to our side, to the environment in which we live. How many people are suffering shortages, terrible afflictions in soul and spirit! Are horrific losses, desperate mothers, who do not know what to do with their children lost in the world of drugs, alcohol or in so many situations; often people with incurable diseases, chronic diseases and afflictions. We cannot allow them to fall into despair. Jesus is for us, He is light, consolation and compassion. We need to be encouraging, consoling, comforting presence of Jesus in the midst of the afflictions of the people who are on our side, in the world we're in. We need to be to them what Jesus is to us, we need to take solace and comfort to the hearts of others.
