 O Filho do Homem é Senhor também do sábado - Mc 2,23-28

The son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath - Mc 2,22-28

Texto Bíblico

23 Jesus estava passando por uns campos de trigo, em dia de sábado. Seus discípulos começaram a arrancar espigas, enquanto caminhavam. 24 Então os fariseus disseram a Jesus: “Olha! Por que eles fazem em dia de sábado o que não é permitido?” 25 Jesus lhes disse: “Por acaso, nunca lestes o que Davi e seus companheiros fizeram quando passaram necessidade e tiveram fome? 26 Como ele entrou na casa de Deus, no tempo em que Abiatar era sumo sacerdote, comeu os pães oferecidos a Deus, e os deu também aos seus companheiros? No entanto, só aos sacerdotes é permitido comer esses pães”. 27 E acrescentou: “O sábado foi feito para o homem, e não o homem para o sábado. 28 Portanto, o Filho do Homem é senhor também do sábado”.

Biblical Text 
23 Jesus was passing through wheat fields, on Saturday. His disciples began to pluck ears as they walked. 24 Then the Pharisees told Jesus: "Look! For what they do on the Sabbath what is not allowed? " 25 Jesus said to them: "by the way, have you never read what David did when he and his companions spent need and had hunger? 26 How he entered the House of God, in the time when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the bread offered to God, and gave them to his teammates? However, only the priests are allowed to eat these breads ". 27 and added: "the Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. 28 Therefore, the son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath. "

Refletindo

Quando vivemos cercados de tantas situações que causam desalento ao nosso coração, há um desânimo a nossa alma. A verdade, muitas vezes, é que queremos nos desesperar. O desespero é o veneno fatal para a nossa vida, porque tira de nós todo alento, todo vigor que podemos ter na alma. Mas quando colocamos no Senhor a nossa esperança, ficamos firmes, ficamos de pé e nos reerguemos, porque sabemos em quem depositamos a nossa confiança. Olhos fixos em Jesus, coração firme n’Ele. Se mantivermos diante de nós a nossa meta, que é Cristo Jesus Nosso Senhor, Ele nos conduzirá à esperança e não permitirá que nada de desalento, que vem para nos deixar desanimados, leve-nos ao fracasso. Ele nos levanta e nos coloca de pé, porque essa esperança ancora e conduz a nossa vida!

Reflecting 
When we live surrounded by so many situations that cause dismay to our heart, there's a discouragement to our soul. The truth is that often we want to despair. Despair is the fatal poison for our life, because we strip every breath, every force we can have in the soul. But when we put our hope in the Lord, we were strong, we were standing and bounce back, because we know in whom we place our trust. Eyes fixed on Jesus, heart firmly in him. If we keep before us to our goal, which is Christ Jesus our Lord, He will lead us to hope and will not allow anything of dismay, that comes to get us discouraged, take us to failure. He us up and puts us to walk, because that hope ancora and leads our life!
