 Deram-lhe o nome de Jesus- Lc 2, 16-21

Naquele tempo: 16 Os pastores foram às pressas a Belém e encontraram Maria e José, e o recém-nascido, deitado na manjedoura. 17 Tendo-o visto, contaram o que lhes fora dito sobre o menino. 18 E todos os que ou viram os pastores ficaram maravilhados com aquilo que contavam. 19 Quanto a Maria, guardava todos estes fatos e meditava sobre eles em seu coração. 20 Os pastores voltaram, glorificando e louvando a Deus por tudo que tinham visto e ouvido, conforme lhes tinha sido dito. 21 Quando se completaram os oito dias para a circuncisão do menino, deram-lhe o nome de Jesus, como fora chamado pelo anjo antes de ser concebido.

At that time: 16 pastors were in a hurry to Bethlehem and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger. 17 Having seen, heard what they said about the boy. 18 and all that or seen the pastors were amazed with what I had. 19 As Mary kept all these facts and meditated on them in her heart. 20 the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had seen and heard, as they had been told. 21 When the eight days were completed for the circumcision of the child, gave him the name Jesus, as called by the Angel before he was conceived.

Refletindo

Iniciando 2017, nascem novas expectativas e novos anseios, mas é bom lembrar que somos a mesma pessoa. Carregamos em nós o peso das dificuldades, dos problemas, das situações que não resolvemos, mas isso não pode tirar nossa fé e nossa esperança. Pelo contrário, temos de nos revestir muito mais de fé, esperança e confiança, porque os dias podem mudar, mas quem de fato muda a nossa vida é a nossa disposição de viver a fé e a vida iluminada por ela, conduzindo os nossos passos. No primeiro dia do ano, celebrarmos Santa Maria, a Mãe de Jesus, porque uma nova humanidade começou com Maria, a nova humanidade começou no ventre dela, a nova humanidade começou com o novo Adão, que é Cristo Jesus Nosso Senhor. O ventre de Maria é o novo paraíso, no qual a humanidade é renascida, recriada e convidada a viver uma nova dimensão, uma nova criação. Eu e você precisamos nos inserir nessa realidade, precisamos abraçar Cristo como nosso Salvador, porque Ele faz nova todas as coisas! Não podemos encarar a vida como encarávamos antes, quando vivíamos na ignorância e não conhecíamos Nosso Senhor e Salvador Jesus Cristo.  Um 2017 abençoado a todos.

Reflecting 
Starting 2017, are born new hopes and new aspirations, but it's good to remember that we are the same person. We carry within us the weight of difficulties, problems, situations that we haven't, but it cannot take away our faith and our hope. On the contrary, we have to coat more of faith, hope and trust, because the days may change, but who in fact change our life is our willingness to live faith and life illuminated by her, leading our steps. On the first day of the year, celebrate Santa Maria, the mother of Jesus, because a new humanity started with Maria, the new humanity began in her womb, the new humanity began with the new Adam, which is Christ Jesus our Lord. The womb of Mary is the new paradise, in which humanity is reborn, rebuilt and invited to live a new dimension, a new creation. You and I need to insert in this reality, we need to embrace Christ as our Savior, because He makes all things new! We can't look at life as longer before, when we lived in ignorance and we did not know Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 1 2017 blessed everyone.
