 E a Palavra se fez carne e habitou entre nós- Jo 1, 1-18

And the word became flesh and dwelt among us - Jo 1, 1-18

Texto Bíblico

1 No princípio era a Palavra, e a Palavra estava com Deus; e a Palavra era Deus. 2 No princípio, estava ela com Deus. 3 Tudo foi feito por ela e sem ela nada se fez de tudo que foi feito. 4 Nela estava a vida, e a vida era a luz dos homens. 5 E a luz brilha nas trevas, e as trevas não conseguiram dominá-la. 6 Surgiu um homem enviado por Deus; seu nome era João. 7 Ele veio como testemunha, para dar testemunho da luz, para que todos chegassem à fé por meio dele. 8 Ele não era a luz, mas veio para dar testemunho da luz: 9 daquele que era a luz de verdade, que, vindo ao mundo, ilumina todo ser humano. 10 A Palavra estava no mundo – e o mundo foi feito por meio dela – mas o mundo não quis conhecê-la. 11 Veio para o que era seu, e os seus não a acolheram. 12 Mas, a todos os que a receberam, deu-lhes capacidade de se tornar filhos de Deus, isto é, aos que acreditam em seu nome, 13 pois estes não nasceram do sangue, nem da vontade da carne, nem da vontade do varão, mas de Deus mesmo. 14 E a Palavra se fez carne e habitou entre nós. E nós contemplamos a sua glória, glória que recebe do Pai como Filho unigênito, cheio de graça e de verdade. 15 Dele, João dá testemunho, clamando: “Este é aquele de quem eu disse: O que vem depois de mim passou à minha frente, porque ele existia antes de mim”. 16 De sua plenitude todos nós recebemos graça por graça. 17 Pois por meio de Moisés foi dada a Lei, mas a graça e a verdade nos chegaram através de Jesus Cristo. 18 A Deus, ninguém jamais viu. Mas o Unigênito de Deus, que está na intimidade do Pai, ele no-lo deu a conhecer.

Biblical Text 
1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God; and the word was God. 2 In principle, she was with God. 3 Everything was done for her and nothing was done without her all that was done. 4 It was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness failed to dominate her. 6 Came a man sent by God; his name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to bear witness of the light, that all came to faith through him. 8 he was not the light, but came to bear witness of the light: 9 that is was the light of truth, which, coming into the world, illuminates every human being. 10 the word was in the world-and the world was made through it – but the world didn't want to meet her. 11 Came to what was his, and your not welcomed. 12 but to all who received him, he gave them the ability to become children of God, that is, those who believe in his name, 13 as they were not born of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of the son, but God even. 14 and the word became flesh and dwelt among us. His 15, John testifies, claiming: "this is he of whom I said: what comes after me went in front of me, because he existed before me." 16 of his fulness we have all received grace for grace. 17 Because through Moses was given the law, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 to God, no one has ever seen. But the only begotten God, which is in the intimacy of the Father, he gave it to us to know.

Refletindo

Às vezes, não conseguimos mais amar, perdemos a força de amar. Amávamos tanto, nosso amor era tão bonito, era até romântico, mas por que será que se apagou? É como luzes que se apagam, mas quando a luz se apaga, porque queimou, pode trocar; quando a luz se apaga, porque está desligada, pode se ligar. Quando as coisas dentro de nós se apagam, quando perdem o fervor, é Deus quem ilumina e acende o que está apagado. E se aquilo que estava dentro de nós não servia para mais nada, a luz de Deus traz luz nova, graça nova e direção nova para a nossa vida! Hoje, vamos começar, nesta noite, um novo ano, um novo tempo. Não permita que seja somente mais um ano que chega, mas que seja um ano com luzes novas, com nova direção. Não podemos começar melhor o ano do que com a direção de Cristo, que traz luz nova para os nossos caminhos. Celebramos a luz, que é Jesus. O mundo envolto em trevas, e a escuridão não sabia para onde caminhar, por isso encheu-se de ilusões, guerras, doenças, pânico, ódio, egoísmo e tantos sentimentos e atitudes que não condizem com a vida na luz. O mais importante é que a luz se manifestou, veio brilhar, e as trevas não foram capazes de vencê-la, porque a luz de Deus é maior do que qualquer treva deste mundo! Precisamos nos deixar iluminar pela luz divina.

Reflecting 
Sometimes, we can't get any more love, we lose the power of love. We loved so much, our love was so beautiful, was romantic, but why is it deleted? It's like lights that go off, but when the light goes out, because burned, can change; When the light goes out, because it's off, you can connect. When things inside out, when they lose the fervor, it is God who shines and illuminates what is deleted. And if what was inside was no good for anything else, the light of God brings new light, free new and new direction to our life. Today, let's start tonight, a new year, a new time. Do not allow to be only another year arrives, but to be a year with new lights, new direction. We can't get better year than with the direction of Christ, which brings new light to our paths. Celebrate the light that is Jesus. The world shrouded in darkness, and the darkness did not know where to walk, so I was filled with illusions, wars, diseases, panic, anger, selfishness and so many feelings and attitudes that don't support life on light. The most important thing is that the light appeared, came shining, and darkness were unable to beat her, because the light of God is greater than any darkness of this world. We need to let us illuminate the divine light.

Senhor Deus, não permita que seja somente mais um ano que chega, mas que seja um ano com luzes novas, com nova direção. Quero começar melhor o ano com a direção de Cristo, que traz luz nova para os meus caminhos. Hoje celebro a luz, que é Jesus.

Praying
