At that time, 13 Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan River, in order to meet John and be baptized by him. 14 But John protested, saying: "I need to be baptized by you, and are you coming to me?" 15 but Jesus answered him: "for the time being leave it, because we must fulfill all righteousness." And John agreed. 16 after being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water. Then the sky opened up and Jesus saw the spirit of God descending as a dove and coming to land on it. 17 and there came a voice from heaven saying, "This is my beloved son, in whom I put my liking".
The baptism puts us in our place, we assume that that, in fact, are or should be sons and daughters of God:! And the children of God living a submission to God. The word "submission" can seem very worn out these days, because she is very badly used and barely lived. Children need to be submissive to their parents, employees need to be submissive to the bosses. In the world there is no submission, and when I speak into submission is not simply to be head down, because you have to agree with everything. But submission is to allow the order happens, that discipline organise and lead our lives. The disorder in the spirit world happened when the angels of God not submitted to him. Disobeyed the Lord! And we know the disorder and misfortune that was! In our human world, our material world, all disasters do happen when there is no submission to the laws, the authorities; in marriage, each one does what he wants! When no submission at work, do what we want, anytime we get, anytime you want. And you know that everything that causes disorders. The baptism that we receive is to break the Interior disorders in us, is to make people submissive, firstly to God, to his will and help us live in an orderly manner, correct and fair in the world. Be subservient to God and to his will, and the inner order will happen within our heart and our soul. There's only one way to save this world: being submissive to God, Lord and creator of all things. His Son became submissive to him through baptism, and became submissive to conditions of this world living in humility of heart.
