Master where you live? - Jo 1, 35-42
André conduziu Simão a Jesus.
Biblical Text
At that time, 35 João was again with two of his disciples 36 and, seeing Jesus through, said: "Behold the Lamb of God!" 37 Listening to these words, the two disciples followed Jesus. 38 Turning to them and seeing that they were following, Jesus asked: "what are you looking for?" They said: "Rabbi (which means teacher), where do you live?" 39 Jesus replied, "come and see". Were seeing where he lived and, on that day, remained with him. It was about 4 P.M.. 40 Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard the words from John and followed Jesus. 41 He was soon to find his brother Simon and said to him: "we have found the Messiah" (which means: Christ) ". 42 Then André led Simon to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, "you are Simon son of John; You shall be called Cephas (which means Rock).
Refletindo
maligno.
do maligno?

Reflecting
We live in a world surrounded by injustices of economic, political, social order and more other injustices. Speak ill of another is a terrible injustice, one of the largest there is gossip, denounce, hate the person, to want to hurt her; It's growing on us the power of evil. I have to tell you, with all my heart, that these works are not of God, because no injustice comes from the heart. Who is the son of the Lord cannot practice. Who's God son practise what is just and right; abhors sin. As much as we have evil inclinations, however we have forces within us by calling us to commit what is wrong, who is the son of God was born of him and allows him to destroy the works of the devil, which are permeating our lives everywhere. Are injustices, evil that provoke here and there. When we speak we think it only happens in the big world, where people are killing each other, where one commits adultery, murders and terrible crimes. Among us there are many forces of evil. We are wishing evil to each other, we're not looking to good for our brother, we are by sowing discord, conflicts, divisions, separations; and everything that does not come from God. The word of the Lord, which comes to us today, is an invitation to a deep reflection: I want to live as God's son or son of evil? Are not our words that will answer this, are our deeds. If we practice love and works of God, will live as children of God. However, if we give in to the works of the evil one, we will live in this world as children of evil. God came to rescue us from the clutches of evil. We need to live as children of God, living on us the grace of the Lord.
