Leitura do livro do profeta Isaías 25,6-10 – Naquele dia, 6o Senhor dos exércitos dará neste monte, para todos os povos, um banquete de ricas iguarias, regado com vinho puro, servido de pratos deliciosos e dos mais finos vinhos. 7Ele removerá, neste monte, a ponta da cadeia que ligava todos os povos, a teia em que tinha envolvido todas as nações. 8O Senhor Deus eliminará para sempre a morte, e enxugará as lágrimas de todas as faces, e acabará com a desonra do seu povo em toda a terra; o Senhor o disse. 9Naquele dia se dirá: “Este é o nosso Deus, esperamos nele, até que nos salvou; este é o Senhor, nele temos confiado: vamos alegrar-nos e exultar por nos ter salvo”. 10E a mão do Senhor repousará sobre este monte. – Palavra do Senhor.

Reading the book of the prophet Isaiah 25,6-10 - On that day, the 6th Lord of hosts will give on this mountain, for all peoples, a banquet of rich delicacies, washed down with pure wine, served with delicious dishes and the finest wines. 7He will remove, on this mountain, the end of the chain that connected all peoples, the web in which he had enveloped all nations. 8The Lord God will eliminate death forever, and wipe the tears from all faces, and end the dishonor of his people throughout the land; the Lord said so. 9In that day it will be said: “This is our God, we waited in him, until he saved us; this is the Lord, we have trusted him: we will rejoice and rejoice for having saved us ”. 10And the hand of the Lord will rest on this mountain. - Word of the Lord.

Na casa do Senhor habitarei pelos tempos infinitos.
1. O Senhor é o pastor que me conduz; / não me falta coisa alguma. / Pelos prados e campinas verdejantes / ele me leva a descansar. / Para as águas repousantes me encaminha / e restaura as minhas forças.
2. Ele me guia no caminho mais seguro / pela honra do seu nome. / Mesmo que eu passe pelo vale tenebroso, / nenhum mal eu temerei. / Estais comigo com bastão e com cajado, / eles me dão a segurança!
3. Preparais à minha frente uma mesa, / bem à vista do inimigo; / com óleo vós ungis minha cabeça, / e o meu cálice transborda.

I will dwell in the house of the Lord for infinite times.

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus 15,29-37 – Naquele tempo, 29Jesus foi para as margens do mar da Galileia, subiu a montanha e sentou-se. 30Numerosas multidões aproximaram-se dele, levando consigo coxos, aleijados, cegos, mudos e muitos outros doentes. Então os colocaram aos pés de Jesus. E ele os curou. 31O povo ficou admirado quando viu os mudos falando, os aleijados sendo curados, os coxos andando e os cegos enxergando. E glorificaram o Deus de Israel. 32Jesus chamou seus discípulos e disse: “Tenho compaixão da multidão, porque já faz três dias que está comigo, e nada tem para comer. Não quero mandá-los embora com fome, para que não desmaiem pelo caminho”. 33Os discípulos disseram: “Onde vamos buscar, neste deserto, tantos pães para saciar tão grande multidão?” 34Jesus perguntou: “Quantos pães tendes?” Eles responderam: “Sete e alguns peixinhos”. 35E Jesus mandou que a multidão se sentasse pelo chão. 36Depois pegou os sete pães e os peixes, deu graças, partiu-os e os dava aos discípulos, e os discípulos, às multidões. 37Todos comeram e ficaram satisfeitos; e encheram sete cestos com os pedaços que sobraram. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 15,29-37 - At that time, 29Jesus went to the shores of the Sea of Galilee, went up the mountain and sat down. 30Numerous crowds approached him, taking the lame, the crippled, the blind, the dumb, and many other sick people with them. Then they placed them at Jesus' feet. And he healed them. 31The people were amazed when they saw the dumb talking, the cripples being healed, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel. 32Jesus called his disciples and said: “I have compassion for the crowd, because he has been with me for three days and has nothing to eat. I don't want to send them away hungry, lest they pass out on the way ”. 33The disciples said, "Where are we going to get, in this desert, so many loaves to satisfy such a large crowd?" 34Jesus asked, "How many loaves do you have?" Para refletir
Jesus investe as suas capacidades a fim de renovar a vida do povo. E o faz, não com promessas ou boas intenções. Ele realiza de fato uma mudança significativa na história de quem o busca com fé e coração aberto. Então vemos o poder de Deus transformando a vida da sociedade: Jesus restitui a saúde aos doentes, reintegra no convívio social, oferece dignidade a todos. O episódio da partilha de alimento para incontável multidão é um sério apelo a todos nós: se houver partilha igualitária dos bens da criação (sete pães indicam totalidade), todos ficarão alimentados. Bendigamos ao Senhor pelo pão da terra e pelo pão do céu.
To think about
Jesus invests his abilities in order to renew the life of the people. And it does so, not with promises or good intentions. He does bring about a significant change in the history of those who seek him with faith and an open heart. Then we see the power of God transforming the life of society: Jesus restores health to the sick, reintegrates into social life, offers dignity to everyone. The episode of sharing food for countless crowds is a serious appeal to all of us: if there is an equal sharing of the goods of creation (seven loaves indicate totality), everyone will be fed. We bless the Lord for the bread of the earth and for the bread of heaven.

Ó Jesus, divino Mestre, contemplamos admirados Tua solicitude com a multidão, seus pobres e enfermos. Além de curares os doentes, organizas a partilha de alimento para todos. Desperta, Senhor, o zelo dos governantes em favor da saúde pública e dos serviços hospitalares de nossas cidades. Amém.
To Pray
O Jesus, divine Master, we admire Your concern for the crowd, their poor and sick. In addition to curing the sick, you organize food sharing for everyone. Awaken, Lord, the zeal of government officials for public health and hospital services in our cities. Amen.
