Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Lucas 2,15-20 – 15Quando os anjos se afastaram, voltando para o céu, os pastores disseram entre si: “Vamos a Belém ver este acontecimento que o Senhor nos revelou”. 16Os pastores foram às pressas a Belém e encontraram Maria e José, e o recém-nascido deitado na manjedoura. 17Tendo-o visto, contaram o que lhes fora dito sobre o menino. 18E todos os que ouviram os pastores ficaram maravilhados com aquilo que contavam. 19Quanto a Maria, guardava todos esses fatos e meditava sobre eles em seu coração. 20Os pastores voltaram, glorificando e louvando a Deus por tudo o que tinham visto e ouvido, conforme lhes tinha sido dito. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 2,15-20 - 15When the angels left, returning to heaven, the shepherds said among themselves: "We are going to Bethlehem to see this event that the Lord has revealed to us". 16The shepherds hurried to Bethlehem and found Mary and Joseph, and the newborn lying in the manger. 17 When they saw him, they told him what had been said about the boy. 18And all who heard the shepherds were amazed at what they were saying. 19As for Mary, she kept all these facts and meditated on them in her heart. 20The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had seen and heard, as they had been told. - Word of salvation.

Ao amanhecer deste novo dia, celebremos com alegria a chegada do nosso Salvador. Jesus é a luz que brilha em meio às incertezas e dúvidas da humanidade. Deixemo-nos envolver por sua bondade e amor e nos disponhamos ao encontro com ele nesta Eucaristia. A presença do Senhor no meio do povo é fonte de luz e esperança. Ele nos salva por sua misericórdia e traz alegria aos pobres, tornando-os anunciadores da Boa-nova.
To think about
At the dawn of this new day, let us celebrate with joy the arrival of our Savior. Jesus is the light that shines in the midst of humanity's uncertainties and doubts. Let us allow ourselves to be enveloped by his kindness and love and be ready to meet him in this Eucharist. The Lord's presence among the people is a source of light and hope. He saves us by his mercy and brings joy to the poor, making them announcers of the Good News.

Ó Menino Jesus, recém-nascido, és colocado numa manjedoura. Ao Teu lado, tens o aconchego da Tua mãe, Maria e a proteção do Teu pai adotivo, José. O céu, porém, explode em manifestações de júbilo. Amém.

O newborn baby Jesus, you are placed in a manger. Beside You, you have the warmth of Your mother, Mary and the protection of Your adoptive father, José. The sky, however, explodes in manifestations of joy. Amen.
