Aleluia, aleluia, aleluia. 21Novamente, Jesus disse: “A paz esteja convosco.
Gospel
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Come, divine Spirit, and fill the hearts of the faithful with your gifts; / and kindle love in them like a scorching fire! - Proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 20,19-23 - 19Dusk of that day, the first of the week, being closed, for fear of the Jews, the doors of the place where the disciples were, Jesus entered and, putting himself in their midst, he said, "Peace be with you." 20 After those words, he showed them his hands and side. Then the disciples were glad to see the Lord. 21 Again, Jesus said: “Peace be with you. As the Father sent me, I also send you ”. 22And after saying that, he blew on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 Whoever forgives sins, they will be forgiven; whoever does not forgive them, they will be withheld ”. - Word of salvation.

Reflection
On the same day of Easter, the Risen One appears to the fearful apostles and wishes them peace: "Peace be with you". It is the first good news they receive and the gift par excellence that helps them to overcome their fear. After a second greeting with the desire for peace, the disciples are invited to continue the Master's work; for that they are sent. Then the Holy Spirit is blown upon them: it is a question of the certainty of the presence of the Risen One and of his strength in the mission of his own. With the solemnity of Pentecost, we have the birth of the Church of Jesus.
