The person who has will be given more, and will have in abundance.
– Palavra do Senhor.
1st Reading - Êxodo 19,1-2.9-11.16-20
Reading of the book of exodus-1 on the day that followed three months of departure from Egypt, Israel came to the wilderness of Sinai. 2 starting from Rafidim, came to the desert of Sinai, where they camped. Israel pitched their tents there, in front of the mountain. 9 and the Lord spoke to Moses: "I will come to you in a dark cloud, so that the people listen when I talk to you and always believe in you." 10 Having Moses passed to the Lord the words of the people, the Lord said to him: "go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow. They must wash their robes 11 and be ready for the third day, because on that day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people on the mountain of Sinai ". 16 when it came to the third day, at the dawning of the morning, there was Thunder and lightning. A thick cloud covered the mountain, and a very strong sound of trumpets heard. In the camp the people stood trembling. 17 Moses made the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stopped at the foot of the mountain. All 18 Mount Sinai smoking, for the Lord will come down on him in the midst of the fire. The smoke rose like a furnace, and the whole lot was shaking violently. 19 the sound of the trumpet increased more and more. Moses talked and the Lord answered through the Thunder. 20 the Lord descended on Mount Sinai and called Moses to the Summit of Mount. And Moses went up. -The word of the Lord.

Evangelho - Mateus 13,10-17
Gospel - Mateus 13,10-17
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew – at that time, 10 the disciples approached Jesus and said: "why do you speak to the people in parables?" 11 Jesus answered: "because you have been given the knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 Because the person who has will be given more, and will have in abundance; but the person who does not have to be taken to the little we have. 13 that's why I speak in parables: because, looking, they do not see, and hearing they do not hear or understand. 14 in this manner if meets them the prophecy of Isaiah: ' ye shall hear nothing to understand. Ye shall look without anything to see. 15 because the heart of this people has become insensitive. They listened with ill will and closed your eyes to not see with their eyes, hear with their ears, nor understand with their hearts, so that they become and I cure '. 16 Happy art thou, because your eyes see and your ears hear. 17 verily I say unto you, many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see and not seen, wished to hear what you heard and not heard ". -The word of salvation.

Reflecting the Gospel
"The heart of this people was painless. This quote from Isaiah seems to summarize the Gospel passage we're meditating. Jesus uses it to show how the crowds (the outside) do not have the provisions needed to understand your message, and less still to accede to the proposal of the Kingdom of God. Many are around of Jesus by mere curiosity, to see its wonders or other interests, the firm will become a disciple or his disciple. Correspond to the stony terrain that does not condition for the seed (Word) penetrate and produce fruit. Looking at this crowd, that Jesus understands is a rejection of your person. So keep investing in the group chosen, the Apostles, to which "is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven".
