Liturgia Diária 17/07/2017 Daily Liturgy 07/17/2017

Quem não toma a sua cruz e não me segue não é digno de mim.
Those who do not take your cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

– Palavra do Senhor.

1st Reading - Êxodo 1,8-14.22
Reading of the book of exodus-in those days, there was a new King 8 in Egypt, which had no known José, 9 and said to the people: "your Look as the people of the children of Israel are more numerous and stronger than us. 10 we will act with prudence in relation to it, to prevent that continues to grow and, in the event of war, join our enemies, fight against us and will eventually leave the country ". 11 Established inspectors of works, for which the were muzzling with drudgery; and that's how he built for the Pharaoh-cities Pithom and Rameses warehouses. 12 but the more oppressed, multiplied and grew. 13 Obsessed by the fear of the children of Israel, the Egyptians have imposed them a hard slavery. 14 and they made their lives bitter by the heavy work of preparing the clay and bricks, with all manner of work of fields and other services that led to do by force. 22 Pharaoh gave this order to all your people: "Cast into the River Nile all newborn Hebrew boys, but spare the lives of girls". -The word of the Lord.

Evangelho - Mateus 10,34-11,1

Gospel -  Mateus 10,34-11,1
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew – at that time, Jesus said to his disciples: 34 "think not that I came to bring peace on Earth; I didn't come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 in fact, came to separate the son of your father, your mother's daughter, nora of your mother-in-law. 36 and a man's enemies will be their own relatives. 37 he who loves father or your your mother more than me is not worthy of me. Who loves your son or your daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 Who Don't take your cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Who seeks to conserve your life will lose it. And who loses your life for my sake will find it. 40 who receives me receives; and who receives me receives the one who sent me. 41 Who receives a prophet, by being Prophet, will receive the reward of a prophet. And who gets a fair, be fair, will receive a fair reward. 42 it is bidder just a glass of cold water to one of these little ones, for being my disciple, verily I say unto you, don't lose your reward ". 11.1 When Jesus just give these instructions to the twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities. -The word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
Not all accept the demands of the Kingdom of Justice and peace that Jesus came to establish in this world. Those who argue for a society based on power, wealth and a life in selfish, hardly will receive the Messiah with your message of love God and subsidiary of fraternal communion. The unjust and oppressive society Jesus contrasts the values of peace. Not that Jesus declare war openly; is your message that provokes the hostility of those who reject it; those wielding the sword (Division). Come to our mind the words of the old man Simeon, when the presentation of Jesus in the temple: "Behold, this child is about to fall and rebuilding of many in Israel" (2.34). Jesus himself shows what is the nature of the peace that he gives us: "peace I give isn't like the peace the world gives" (Jn 14.27).

Rezando
(Salmo 123/124).

Praying
If the Lord wasn't on our side, say Israel right now; If you were not on our side when men invested against us, I'm sure we would have eaten in the furor of your wrath against us. Then the waters in would have submerged, the current would have dragged and then over we would have passed these waters and more precipitous. Blessed be the Lord, why didn't you let fall prey to their teeth. Our soul as a bird escaped from the bond that you frame the Hunter; the bond blew out suddenly, and so we can free our aid is the name of the Lord, the Lord who made heaven and Earth. (Psalm 123/124).
