My yoke is easy and my burden is light.

1a.Leitura - Êxodo 3,13-20

Leitura do livro do Êxodo – Naqueles dias, ouvindo a voz do Senhor do meio da sarça, ¹³ Moisés disse a Deus: “Sim, eu irei aos filhos de Israel e lhes direi: ‘O Deus de vossos pais enviou-me a vós’. Mas, se eles perguntarem: ‘Qual é o seu nome?’, o que lhes devo responder?” ¹⁴ Deus disse a Moisés: “Eu sou aquele que sou”. E acrescentou: “Assim responderás aos filhos de Israel: ‘Eu sou enviou-me a vós’”. ¹⁵ E Deus disse ainda a Moisés: “Assim dirás aos filhos de Israel: ‘O Senhor, o Deus de vossos pais, o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó, enviou-me a vós’. Esse é o meu nome para sempre, e assim serei lembrado de geração em geração. ¹⁶ Vai, reúne os anciãos de Israel e dize-lhes: ‘O Senhor, o Deus de vossos pais, o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó, apareceu-me, dizendo: Eu vos visitei e vi tudo o que vos sucede no Egito. ¹⁷ E decidi tirar-vos da opressão do Egito e conduzir-vos à terra dos cananeus, dos hititas, dos amorreus, dos ferezeus, dos eveus e dos jebuseus, a uma terra onde corre leite e mel’. ¹⁸ Eles te escutarão e tu, com os anciãos de Israel, irás ao rei do Egito e lhe direis: ‘O Senhor, o Deus dos hebreus, veio ao nosso encontro. E agora temos que ir, a três dias de marcha no deserto, para oferecermos sacrifícios ao Senhor nosso Deus’. ¹⁹ Eu sei, no entanto, que o rei do Egito não vos deixará partir se não for obrigado por mão forte. ²⁰ Por isso, estenderei minha mão e castigarei o Egito com toda sorte de prodígios que vou realizar no meio deles. Depois disso, o rei do Egito vos deixará partir”. – Palavra do Senhor.

Evangelho - Mateus 11,28-30

Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus – Naquele tempo, tomou Jesus a palavra e disse: ²⁸ “Vinde a mim, todos vós que estais cansados e fatigados sob o peso dos vossos fardos, e eu vos darei descanso. ²⁹ Tomai sobre vós o meu jugo e aprendei de mim, porque sou manso e humilde de coração, e vós encontrareis descanso. ³⁰ Pois o meu jugo é suave e o meu fardo é leve”. – Palavra da salvação.

Gospel -  Mateus 11,28-30

Refletindo o Evangelho  

Um olhar panorâmico sobre o mundo nos mostrará imensa multidão de gente sofredora. Boa parte do sofrimento é causada por governos opressores, dirigentes intolerantes com as religiões, má distribuição de renda, miséria. A prática do aborto, o tráfico de pessoas, o uso desenfreado e irresponsável do sexo, a não aceitação de Deus na própria vida, tudo isso concorre para sufocar a humanidade e envolvê-la na tristeza e na infelicidade. Jesus vem mostrar outro caminho. Ele pessoalmente se dispõe a conduzir os que ouvem sua voz e decidem segui-lo. Ele é manso e humilde, é nosso ombro amigo e conforto para os momentos de angústia, saída certa quando estamos desorientados. Seu coração permanece generosamente aberto para todos: “Venham a mim todos vocês que andam cansados…”.

Reflecting the Gospel

A look forward on the world show us immense crowd of people suffering. Much of the suffering is caused by Governments, leaders intolerant oppressors with religions, poor income distribution, poverty. The practice of abortion, human trafficking, rampant and irresponsible use of sex, the non-acceptance of God in his own life, all this competes to suffocate humanity and wrap it in sadness and unhappiness. Jesus comes to show another way. He personally is willing to conduct what they hear your voice and decide to follow him. He is gentle and humble, is our friend and comfort for the moments of anguish, exit right when we are disoriented. Your heart remains generously open to all: "come to me all you who are weary ...".

Rezando 
Dai graças ao Senhor, gritai seu nome, / anunciai entre as nações seus grandes feitos! / Lembrai as maravilhas que ele fez, / seus prodígios e as palavras de seus lábios! Ele sempre se recorda da aliança, / promulgada a incontáveis gerações; / da aliança que ele fez com Abraão / e do seu santo juramento a Isaac. Praying  

Give thanks to the Lord, cry out your name,/proclaim among the Nations their great deeds! /Remember the wonders he's done,/their wonders and the words from his lips. He always remembers the Alliance,/promulgated the countless generations; /the Alliance he made with Abraham/your holy oath and Isaac. God gave the growth your people/and made stronger than their own oppressors. /He changed their hearts to hate him,/and treated with bad faith their servers. So he sent Moses, your Messenger,/and also Aaron, your chosen; /through them held many wonders/and, in the land of Egypt, wonders.
