🇧🇷Ótimo dia - 14 Nov - Liturgia Diária ::: 🇺🇸Great day - Nov 14 - Daily Liturgy

It is necessary to pray always without ever failing to do so.

1a.Leitura
6 Estes, perante a comunidade, deram testemunho do teu amor. Palavra do Senhor.

1st. Reading
Reading the third letter of St. John 3, 5-8 - 5 Dearest, you do works of faith in everything you do for your brothers, even for foreign brothers. 6 These, before the community, gave testimony of your love. You will do well to provide them for their journey in a way worthy of God. 7 For they have departed for the sake of their name, receiving nothing from the pagans. 8 We must therefore receive such men, to cooperate with them for the truth. Word of the Lord.

Salmo 111/112
3- Feliz o homem prestativo. Que resolve seus negócios com justiça. Porque jamais vacilará o homem reto. Sua lembrança permanece eternamente!

Psalm 111/112
Happy is he who respects the Lord!
1- Happy is he who respects the Lord. And he loves his law with love! Your offspring will be strong on earth, blessed the generation of upright men!
2- There will be glory and wealth in your home, and the good you did will remain forever. He is correct and generous and compassionate. How light shines in darkness for the just.
3- Happy the helpful man. That solves your business fairly. Because the upright man will never waver. Your memory remains forever!

Evangelho

Gospel
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 18,1-8 - At that time, 18 1 Jesus proposed to his disciples a parable to show that it is necessary to pray always without ever failing to do so. 2 “There was a judge in a certain city who neither feared God nor respected anyone. 3 A widow also lived in the same city, who came frequently to her to say: 'Do me justice against my adversary'. 4 But he did not want it for a long time. Finally, he reflected with himself: ‘I don’t fear God or respect men; 5 however, because this widow pester me, I will do her justice, otherwise she will not cease to harass me '. " 6 The Lord went on: “Did you hear what this unjust judge says? 7 Will not God do justice to his chosen ones, who are crying out for him day and night? Will it take time to help them? 8 I tell you, he will soon do them justice. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth? ” Word of Salvation.

To think about
Jesus made use of a fact of daily life to recommend his disciples to pray without being discouraged, and to keep the hope of being answered by God firm. A poor widow, unable to assert her rights, appealed to a judge, whose reputation was that she was neither God-fearing nor respectful of people. As a woman, poor and widowed, she was at a complete disadvantage. As a woman, she had no prestige, in a society where only men were valuable. Being poor, he lacked material resources to confront the explorer. Being a widow, she had no social protection. Without money, he could only count on the honesty of the judges. However, she did not give up. He faced the situation with determination and determination, until the judge asserted his right. His victory was the result of perseverance. In view of this, the disciples were urged to appeal, with perseverance to God, a just judge, in the certainty of being attended to. If a wicked judge, without faith and law, has been stripped of his insensitivity because of the insistence of a poor widow, how much more capable will the disciple who asks, without fainting, the Father of mercy! However, it is necessary to have an unshakable faith. Was such a faith really in the hearts of the disciples?

Para rezar
Senhor Jesus, dá-me uma fé firme, que me leve a rezar sempre, na certeza de ser atendido pela misericórdia do Pai.

To Pray
Lord Jesus, give me a firm faith that will lead me to pray always, in the certainty of being attended to by the Father's mercy.
