Só Deus é bom, e mais ninguém - Mc 10, 17-27
Only God is good, and no one else - Mc 10, 17-27

Naquele tempo, 17 quando Jesus saiu a caminhar, veio alguém correndo, ajoelhou-se diante dele, e perguntou: “Bom Mestre, que devo fazer para ganhar a vida eterna?” 18 Jesus disse: “Por que me chamas de bom? Só Deus é bom, e mais ninguém. 19 Tu conheces os mandamentos: não matarás; não cometerás adultério; não roubarás; não levantarás falso testemunho; não prejudicarás ninguém; honra teu pai e tua mãe!” 20 Ele respondeu: “Mestre, tudo isso tenho observado desde a minha juventude”. 21 Jesus olhou para ele com amor, e disse: “Só uma coisa te falta: vai, vende tudo o que tens e dá aos pobres, e terás um tesouro no céu. Depois vem e segue-me!” 22 Mas quando ele ouviu isso, ficou abatido e foi embora cheio de tristeza, porque era muito rico. 23 Jesus então olhou ao redor e disse aos discípulos: “Como é difícil para os ricos entrar no Reino de Deus!” 24 Os discípulos se admiravam com estas palavras, mas ele disse de novo: “Meus filhos, como é difícil entrar no Reino de Deus! 25 É mais fácil um camelo passar pelo buraco de uma agulha do que um rico entrar no Reino de Deus!” 26 Eles ficaram muito espantados ao ouvirem isso, e perguntavam uns aos outros: “Então, quem pode ser salvo?” 27 Jesus olhou para eles e disse: “Para os homens isso é impossível, mas não para Deus. Para Deus tudo é possível”.

Biblical Text 
At that time, 17 when Jesus came up the walk, someone came running, knelt before him, and asked: "good teacher, what must I do to gain eternal life?" 18 Jesus said: "why do you call me good? Only God is good, and no one else. 19 you know the commandments: thou shalt not kill; You shall not commit adultery; thou shalt not steal; shalt perjury; prejudicarás not nobody; honor thy father and thy mother. " 20 He replied: "master, all that I have observed from my youth." 21 Jesus looked at him with love, and said: "there's only one thing you lack: go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me! " 22 But when he heard this, he was shot down and left full of sadness because it was so Rico. 23 Jesus then looked around and said to his disciples, "how hard it is for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God!" 24 the disciples marveled with these words, but he said again: "my children, how hard it is to enter the Kingdom of God! 25 it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a Rico enter the Kingdom of God! " 26 they were very surprised to hear this, and asked each other: "then who can be saved?" 27 Jesus looked at them and said: "for men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible ".

Refletindo

Podemos ser bons em tudo, mas falta a graça da partilha, do desprendimento. Jesus diz: “Vai e vende”, numa dimensão mais radical da Palavra, porque parece que tudo o que aquele jovem tinha deixava-o preso, amarrado. Não vamos vender tudo o que temos, porque não é essa a dinâmica da vida à qual somos chamado a viver de uma forma mais radical, mas não podemos ser apegados a nada! Quando não conseguimos nos desprender, não vivemos a dinâmica do Reino de Deus; e o principal, não conseguimos seguir Jesus.  A pior desculpa que escuto de alguém é: “Eu não tenho tempo para Deus. Sou de Deus, rezo em minha casa, mas não tenho tempo”. Sabe por que as pessoas não têm tempo? Porque estão demasiadamente ocupadas em suas riquezas. Às vezes, a riqueza da pessoa não é nada, mas é aquilo que ocupa o coração dela. Então, entramos, hoje, nos Reino dos Céus, por causa de três pontos: observar os mandamentos, desprender e partilhar o que tem, e seguir Jesus. Se fizermos isso, o Reino dos Céus, a vida eterna começará agora no meio de nós.

Reflecting 
We can be good at everything, but lacks the grace of sharing, of detachment. Jesus says: "go and sell", a more radical dimension of the word, because it looks like all that young had made him arrested, tied up. We're not selling everything we have, because that's not the dynamics of life to which we are called to live in a more radical, but we can't be attached to anything! When we can't let go, not the dynamics of the Kingdom of God; and the main thing, we haven't been able to follow Jesus. The worst excuse I hear is: "I don't have time for God. I'm from God, I pray in my home, but I don't have time ". Do you know why people don't have the time? Because they are too busy in their wealth. Sometimes, the wealth of the person is not nothing, but it's what occupies her heart. So, we, today, in the Kingdom of heaven, because of three points: observe the commandments, let go and share what you have, and follow Jesus. If we do this, the Kingdom of heaven, eternal life will begin now in our midst.
