Naquele tempo, 1 Jesus
foi para o território da Judeia, do outro lado do rio Jordão. As
multidões se reuniram de novo em torno de Jesus. E ele, como de costume,
as ensinava. 2 Alguns fariseus se aproximaram de Jesus. Para pô-lo à prova, perguntaram se era permitido ao homem divorciar-se de sua mulher. 3 Jesus perguntou: “O que Moisés vos ordenou?” 4 Os fariseus responderam: “Moisés permitiu escrever uma certidão de divórcio e despedi-la”. 5 Jesus então disse: “Foi por causa da dureza do vosso coração que Moisés vos escreveu este mandamento. 6 No entanto, desde o começo da criação, Deus os fez homem e mulher. 7 Por isso, o homem deixará seu pai e sua mãe e os dois serão uma só carne. 8 Assim, já não são dois, mas uma só carne. 9 Portanto, o que Deus uniu, o homem não separe!” 10 Em casa, os discípulos fizeram, novamente, perguntas sobre o mesmo assunto. 11 Jesus respondeu: “Quem se divorciar de sua mulher e casar com outra, cometerá adultério contra a primeira. 12 E se a mulher se divorciar de seu marido e casar com outro, cometerá adultério”.

At that time, 1 Jesus went to the territory of Judea, on the other side of the Jordan River. The crowds gathered again around Jesus. And he, as usual, the taught. 2 Some Pharisees came to Jesus. To put it to the test, asked whether the man were allowed to divorce your wife. 3 Jesus asked: "what Moses commanded you?" 4 the Pharisees said, "Moses allowed write a certificate of divorce and fire her. 5 Jesus then said: "it was because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this commandment Moses. 6 However, since the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. 7 therefore, the man leaves your father and your mother, and the two shall be one flesh. 8 thus, are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate. " 10 In the House the disciples did, again, questions about the same subject. 11 Jesus answered: "Who to divorce your wife and marry another, committeth adultery against the first. 12 and if a woman to divorce your husband and marry another, committeth adultery ".

A nossa vida é condicionada por leis que os homens fizeram, às quais nós
devemos nos submeter para viver na legalidade. Porém, devemos ter
consciência do fato de que, nem tudo o que é legal, é justo, no sentido
pleno da palavra. Podemos citar alguns exemplos como a questão dos
juros: é legal para o banco pagar menos de 1% ao mês para cadernetas de
poupança e cobrar mais de 10% ao mês por empréstimos que realiza? É
legal na sociedade brasileira o divórcio quando, perante os olhos de Deus,
não conduz o homem à justiça, mas sim ao pecado e à morte, pois
desrespeita compromissos e direitos de cônjuges, filhos, da comunidade
eclesial e da própria sociedade?
Reflecting
Our life is conditioned by laws that men did, to which we should submit to live on legality. However, we must be aware of the fact that not everything that is legal, it is fair, in the full sense of the word. We can cite some examples such as the question of interest: is it legal for the Bank to pay less than 1 percent per month for savings books and charge more than 10 percent per month for loans that performs? Is legal in brazilian society divorce when, in the eyes of God, does not lead the man to justice, but to sin and death, for commitments and is in breach of rights of spouses, children, church community and society itself?
