Naquele tempo, disse Jesus a seus discípulos: 38 “Vós ouvistes o que foi dito: ‘Olho por olho e dente por dente!’ 39 Eu, porém, vos digo: Não enfrenteis quem é malvado! Pelo contrário, se alguém te dá um tapa na face direita, oferece-lhe também a esquerda! 40 Se alguém quiser abrir um processo para tomar a tua túnica, dá-lhe também o manto! 41 Se alguém te forçar a andar um quilômetro, caminha dois com ele! 42 Dá a quem te pedir e não vires as costas a quem te pede emprestado. 43 Vós ouvistes o que foi dito: ‘Amarás o teu próximo e odiarás o teu inimigo!’ 44 Eu, porém, vos digo: Amai os vossos inimigos e rezai por aqueles que vos perseguem! 45 Assim, vos tornareis filhos do vosso Pai que está nos céus, porque ele faz nascer o sol sobre maus e bons, e faz cair a chuva sobre justos e injustos. 46 Porque, se amais somente aqueles que vos amam, que recompensa tereis? Os cobradores de impostos não fazem a mesma coisa? 47 E se saudais somente os vossos irmãos, o que fazeis de extraordinário? Os pagãos não fazem a mesma coisa? 48 Portanto, sede perfeitos como o vosso Pai celeste é perfeito!”

At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: "you 38 ye have heard that it was said, ' an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. ' 39 but I say: do not enfrenteis who is evil! On the contrary, if someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer him your left! 40 If anyone wants to file a lawsuit to take your tunic, also gives you the mantle! 41 If someone force you to walk a kilometer, walks two with him. 42 Give to those who ask and don't turn your back on who you borrow. 43 You heard what was said: ' you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. ' 44 but I say unto you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you! 45 thus you entornareis sons of your father who is in heaven, because he does sunrise on the evil and on the good, and makes the rain fall on the just and on the unjust. 46 for if you love only those who love you, what reward have ye? The tax collectors do the same thing? 47 and if you salute your brethren only, what do ye extraordinary? Pagans don't do the same thing? 48 therefore be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect. "

Refletindo

Jesus está nos ensinando hoje como devemos amar os nossos inimigos, aqueles que não nos fazem bem ou nos perseguem. Você pode dizer: “Eu não tenho inimigos”, mas há pessoas que você não tem relações amigáveis, às vezes nos querem mal, nos prejudicam, falam mal de nós. Como lidar com essas situações? A resposta concreta é dar a elas o melhor de nós. E o que é o melhor de nós? Temos virtudes, qualidades, e elas não são o melhor de nós; o melhor de nós é a graça de Deus que está em nós, é o Deus que recebemos, e é isso que devemos dar para o outro. Damos Deus às pessoas quando elas dizem “eu preciso muito de Deus”, então, rezamos por elas, suplicamos que a graça que está em nós seja comunicada a tais pessoas, é isso que devemos fazer. Se oramos pelos nossos, pedimos para que Deus os abençoe, não podemos dar outra coisa para aquele que não nos querem bem. Precisamos dar Deus a eles, porque isso vai nos fazer bem. Quando damos Deus ao outro, o Senhor permanece em nós, quebra em nós o ranço, o rancor, o mal estar que muitas vezes fica dentro de nós pelo mal que o outro nos faz, e assim o desmontamos. Quem nos faz mal pensa, muitas vezes, que vamos reagir de uma forma negativa; ao contrário, respondamos com amor e graça de Deus. O que o Senhor nos ensina é amarmos com amor sem medida, e se nos faltam forças humanas, que Deus nos dê a graça do Seu amor para amarmos como Ele nos ama, e que Seu amor esteja em nós, porque é assim que devemos amar uns aos outros. É isso que Ele quer e nos ensina a viver. Como diz Pe. Joaozinho no mini sermão: Ame o inimigo sem cultivar a inimizade; reze pelo marido violento e ame-o na delegacia da mulher.

Reflecting 
Jesus is teaching us today how we should love our enemies, those who do not make us well or chasing us. You can say: "I have no enemies," but there are people that you don't have friendly relations, sometimes we harm, harm us, speak ill of us. How to deal with these situations? The straight answer is give them the best of us. And what is the best? We have virtues, qualities, and they are not the best; the best is the grace of God which is in us, is the God that we receive, and that's what we give to each other. We give God to people when they say "I need a lot of God", then, pray for them, we pray that the grace that is in us is communicated to such people, that's what we should do. If we pray for ours, we ask that God bless them, we can't give you something else to one who does not want us well. We need to give God to them, because it will do us good. When we give to God the Lord remains in us, in us the rancid, the grudge, the malaise that often gets inside of us for what the other does, and so we dismantled. Who makes us ill think, often, we're going to react in a negative way; on the contrary, respond with love and grace of God. What the Lord teaches us is to love with love without measure, and if we lack human forces, that God give us the grace of your love to love as he loves us, and his love is in us, because that's how we should love each other. That's what he wants and teaches us to live. As says Pe. Joaozinho in "mini sermon": love the enemy without cultivating the enmity; pray for violent husband and love it the women's precinct.
