Tomai sobre vós o meu jugo e de mim aprendei, que sou de manso e humilde coração (Mt 11,29). – Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus 11,25-30 – 25Naquele tempo, Jesus pôs-se a dizer: “Eu te louvo, ó Pai, Senhor do céu e da terra, porque escondeste essas coisas aos sábios e entendidos e as revelaste aos pequeninos. 26Sim, Pai, porque assim foi do teu agrado. 27Tudo me foi entregue por meu Pai, e ninguém conhece o Filho, senão o Pai, e ninguém conhece o Pai, senão o Filho e aquele a quem o Filho o quiser revelar. 28Vinde a mim todos vós que estais cansados e fatigados sob o peso dos vossos fardos, e eu vos darei descanso. 29Tomai sobre vós o meu jugo e aprendei de mim, porque sou manso e humilde de coração, e vós encontrareis descanso. 30Pois o meu jugo é suave e o meu fardo é leve”. – Palavra da salvação.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, that I am meek and humble in heart (Mt 11:29). - Proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 11, 25-30 - 25 At that time, Jesus began to say: “I praise you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed to the little ones. 26Yes, Father, because that was your pleasure. 27Everything was delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son, except the Father, and no one knows the Father, except the Son and the one to whom the Son wants to reveal him. 28 Come to me all of you who are tired and weary under the burden of your burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light ”. - Word of salvation.

Reflexão

Diz Jesus: o meu jugo é suave e o meu fardo é leve. Os pobres e humildes descobrem que a mensagem do Mestre liberta dos pesos que, além de impedir a vida de florescer, dificultam o acesso ao Pai. Depois de censurar algumas cidades por não terem acolhido sua mensagem, Jesus eleva uma prece de gratidão ao Pai por ter escondido essa mensagem dos grandes e sábios e tê-la revelado aos pequeninos. Tal mensagem ficou “escondida” aos sábios e entendidos porque estes já tinham ideia formada a respeito de Jesus e da religião. É difícil mudar a mentalidade de quem se fecha em si mesmo e se reconhece “experto no assunto”. Jesus nos convida a descobrir que sua proposta de vida é leve; ele não a complica, mas a torna suave e mais simples. Hoje na solenidade do Sagrado Coração de Jesus, Ele revela o grande amor de Deus pela humanidade.

Reflection

Jesus says: My yoke is easy and my burden is light. The poor and humble discover that the Master's message frees them from the burdens that, in addition to preventing life from flourishing, make it difficult for them to access the Father. After censoring some cities for not having received his message, Jesus raises a prayer of gratitude to the Father for to have hidden that message from the great and the wise and to have revealed it to the little ones. This message was "hidden" from the wise and the knowledgeable because they already had an idea about Jesus and religion. It is difficult to change the mentality of those who are closed in on themselves and who recognize themselves as “experts in the subject”. Jesus invites us to discover that his life proposal is light; it does not complicate it, but it does make it smooth and simpler. Today on the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, He reveals God's great love for humanity.

Rezando 
Entrego-me e consagro ao Sagrado Coração de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo minha vida, minhas ações, dores e sofrimentos, para que eu utilize meu corpo somente para honrar, amar e glorificar o Sagrado Coração. Esse é meu propósito definitivo e único: ser todo de Deus e fazer tudo por amor a Ele, e ao mesmo tempo, renunciar, com todo meu coração, qualquer coisa que não lhe compraz, além de tomar-te, ó Sagrado Coração, para que sejas ele o único objeto de meu amor. Ó guardião de minha vida, meu seguro de salvação, o remédio para minhas fraquezas e inconstâncias, a solução aos erros de minha vida e meu refúgio seguro à hora da morte. Seja, ó Coração de Bondade, meu intercessor ante Deus Pai e livra-me de Sua sabia ira. Ó Coração de Amor, ponho toda minha confiança em ti, temo minhas fraquezas e falhas, mas tenho esperança em tua divindade e bondade. Tira de mim tudo o que está mal e tudo o que não faça Tua santa vontade. Permite a Teu amor puro a que se imprima no mais profundo de meu coração, para que eu não me esqueça nem me separe de ti. Que eu obtenha de tua amada bondade a graça de ter meu nome escrito em Teu coração, para depositar em Ti toda minha felicidade e glória, viver e morrer em Tua bondade. Amém.

Praying 

I surrender and consecrate to the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ my life, my actions, pains and sufferings, so that I use my body only to honor, love and glorify the Sacred Heart. This is my definitive and unique purpose: to be all of God and do everything for the love of Him, and at the same time, renounce, with all my heart, anything that does not please you, besides taking you, O Sacred Heart, to let him be the only object of my love. O guardian of my life, my life insurance, the remedy for my weaknesses and inconsistencies, the solution to the mistakes of my life and my safe haven at the time of death. Be, O Heart of Kindness, my intercessor before God the Father and deliver me from His wise wrath. O Heart of Love, I put all my trust in you, I fear my weaknesses and failures, but I have hope in your divinity and goodness. Take from me everything that is wrong and everything that does not Your holy will. Allow Your pure love to be imprinted in the depths of my heart, so that I do not forget or separate myself from you. May I obtain from your beloved goodness the grace to have my name written on Your heart, to deposit in You all my happiness and glory, to live and die in Your goodness. Amen.
