Jesus redeems our humanity.

1a.Leitura - Tb 11,5-17

Leitura do Livro de Tobias. Naqueles dias, 5 Ana estava sentada, observando atentamente o caminho por onde devia chegar seu filho. 6 Percebeu que ele se aproximava e disse ao pai: “Teu filho está chegando, e com ele o homem que o acompanhou”. 7 Antes que Tobias se aproximasse do pai, Rafael lhe disse: “Estou certo de que seus olhos se abrirão. 8 Aplica-lhe nos olhos o fel do peixe. O remédio fará com que as manchas brancas se contraiam e se desprendam de seus olhos. Teu pai vai recuperar a vista e enxergará a luz”. 9 Ana correu, atirou-se ao pescoço do filho e disse: “Voltei à ver-te, meu filho, agora posso morrer!” E chorou. 10 Tobit levantou-se e, tropeçando, atravessou a porta do pátio. 11 Tobias foi ao seu encontro, tendo na mão o fel do peixe. Soprou-lhe nos olhos e, segurando-o, disse: “Confiança, pai!” Derramou o remédio e esfregou-o. 12 Depois, com ambas as mãos, tirou-lhe as películas dos cantos dos olhos. 13 Então Tobit caiu-lhe ao pescoço, chorando e dizendo: “Eu te vejo, meu filho, luz de meus olhos!” 14 E acrescentou: “Bendito seja Deus! Bendito seja o seu grande nome! Benditos sejam todos os seus santos anjos por todos os séculos! 15 Porque, se ele me castigou, agora vejo o meu filho Tobias!” A seguir, Tobit entrou com Ana em sua casa, louvando e bendizendo a Deus em alta voz, por tudo o que lhes tinha acontecido. E Tobias contou ao pai como tinha sido boa a viagem deles, por obra do Senhor Deus, como haviam trazido dinheiro e como se tinha casado com Sara, filha de Ragüel. Aliás, ela já se aproximava das portas de Nínive. 16 Tobit e Ana alegraram-se muito e saíram ao encontro da nora, às portas da cidade. Vendo-o andar a passos largos e com toda a firmeza, sem que ninguém o conduzisse pela mão, os ninivitas se admiraram. 17 E diante deles Tobit louvava e bendizia a Deus em alta voz, por ter sido misericordioso para com ele e por lhe ter aberto os olhos. E, aproximando-se de Sara, mulher de seu filho Tobias, abençoou-a e disse: “Bem-vinda sejas, minha filha. E bendito seja o teu Deus, filha, que te trouxe para junto de nós! Abençoado seja o teu pai, abençoado o meu filho Tobias e abençoada sejas tu, minha filha! Entra em tua casa com saúde, a ti bênção e alegria! Entra, minha filha!” E naquele dia foi grande o contentamento entre todos os judeus que se encontravam em Nínive.

Evangelho - Mc 12,35-37
Naquele tempo, 35 Jesus ensinava no Templo, dizendo: “Como é que os mestres da Lei dizem que o Messias é Filho de Davi? 36 O próprio Davi, movido pelo Espírito Santo, falou: ‘Disse o Senhor ao meu Senhor: senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos debaixo dos teus pés’. 37 Portanto, o próprio Davi chama o Messias de Senhor. Como é que ele pode então ser seu filho?” E uma grande multidão o escutava com prazer.

Gospel - Mc 12,35-37

Refletindo o Evangelho 

Jesus está dissipando um entendimento errado ou uma visão reducionista que alguns judeus tinham e que muitos de nós temos da figura do Messias. Veja, Jesus é o filho de Davi, Ele é da descendência de Davi. O Messias é o filho de Maria, Ele é o filho adotivo de José, Ele nasceu da carne, da natureza humana da descendência de Davi. Nós, no entanto, corremos o risco de olharmos Jesus apenas na sua dimensão humana e não reconhecer n’Ele o Messias ungido, enviado e, sobretudo, o Messias que tem n’Ele a divindade, reconhecer que Ele é Deus como o Pai é Deus. Jesus causou muitas controvérsias no passado; hoje, muitos querem olhar para Ele apenas de forma humana. Sem contar também os que vivem outro extremo, querem olhar Jesus apenas de forma divina. Jesus é um anjo no meio de nós. Ele só tinha necessidades divinas, nenhuma necessidade humana. Não! Precisamos olhar para o Mestre Jesus como Nosso Senhor, como Nosso Deus e Salvador. Mas o magnífico, o belo de Deus é que Ele não desprezou a nossa humanidade, que é tão amada e querida por Ele, porque Ele se fez um de nós no Seu filho Jesus. Muitas vezes, queremos desprezar a nossa natureza humana, não queremos reconhecer que o ser humano é ser divino também, porque o Divino veio resgatar e salvar a nossa humanidade. Quando eu olho para Jesus, encontro n’Ele aquilo que a minha natureza humana precisa. Minha natureza humana precisa ser divinizada, humanizada, porque, muitas vezes, nem humanos nós somos uns com os outros, na nossa vivência, na nossa relação uns com os outros. Somos tantas vezes egocêntricos, ególatras, estamos tão centrados em nós, que vivemos uma humanidade fechada, diminuída e não vivemos a humanidade no seu sentido mais pleno e divino. Em Jesus não se separa mais o humano e o divino, e o Divino se torna humano para resgatar a nossa humanidade. O desejo de Jesus é que essa natureza humana seja cada vez mais divinizada. Não confunda divinizada com ter culto à pessoa humana, mas sim ter em nós a graça de Deus, o Seu amor e tudo aquilo que Ele traz para o nosso coração.

The right thing is not the rebellion for rebellion, is not simply the outrage that leads us to live indifferent and out of this world. We are not of this world, but we're on it. If, in this world, there are rules that make the social coexistence happens, we have the right to question them, but we don't have the right not to the experience; unless these rules, constitutions or anything like that hurt our morale. To be more clear: paying taxes, it is often unfair. Pay toll, many times, on the roads of life, is unfair, as well as fines or other things, but he's my witness pay. We can even question, don't think is right, but we need to fulfill our obligations. We could enumerate many other things! Is it okay to vote or not? It is correct to do this or not? We are in society and it is governed by laws and rules. Most importantly, don't forget that we need to give God what belongs to God is to be fair to the company, with the world we live in and with everything we do, is simply put God in the first place. Any law, any obligation to go against God's love, we can never experience it nor put it into practice.
