1a.Leitura - Tb 2,9-14

Leitura do Livro de Tobias.

Eu, Tobias, na noite de Pentecostes, depois de ter sepultado um morto, 9 tomei banho, entrei no pátio de minha casa e deitei-me, junto à parede do pátio, deixando o rosto descoberto por causa do calor. 10 Não sabia que, na parede, por cima de mim, havia pardais aninhados. Seu excremento quente caiu nos meus olhos e provocou manchas brancas. Fui procurar os médicos para me tratarem. Quanto mais remédios me aplicavam, mais meus olhos se obscureciam com as manchas, até que fiquei completamente cego. Durante quatro anos estive privado da vista. Todos os meus irmãos se afligiram por minha causa. Aicar cuidou do meu sustento, durante dois anos, até que partiu para Elimaida. 11 Naquela ocasião, Ana, minha mulher, dedicou-se a trabalhos femininos, tecendo lã. 12 Entregava o produto aos patrões e estes lhe pagavam o salário. No sétimo dia do mês de Distros, ela separou a peça de tecido que estava pronta, e mandou-a aos patrões. Estes pagaram-lhe todo o salário e ainda lhe deram um cabrito para a mesa. 13 Quando entrou em minha casa, o cabrito começo a balir. Chamei minha mulher e perguntei-lhe: “De onde vem este cabrito? Não terá sido roubado? Devolve-o a seus donos, pois não temos o direito de comer coisa alguma roubada”. 14 Ela respondeu-me: “É um presente que me foi dado além do salário”. Mas não acreditei nela e insisti que o devolvesse aos patrões, ficando bastante contrariado por causa disso. Ela então replicou: “Onde estão as tuas esmolas? Onde estão as tuas obras de justiça? Vê-se bem em ti o que elas são!”

Devemos pagar ou não?” 15 Jesus percebeu a hipocrisia deles, e respondeu: “Por que me tentais? Trazei-me uma moeda para que eu a veja”. 16 Eles levaram a moeda, e Jesus perguntou: “De quem é a figura e a inscrição que estão nessa moeda?” Eles responderam: “De César”. 17 Então Jesus disse: “Dai, pois, a César o que é de César, e a Deus o que é de Deus”. E eles ficaram admirados com Jesus.

Gospel - Mc 12,13-17

Refletindo o Evangelho 

Os fariseus e alguns partidários de Herodes querem colocar Jesus numa situação difícil. Primeiro, elogiam-nO: “Mestre, sabemos que o Senhor trouxe a verdade, sabemos que Tu és é verdadeiro, mas nos diga: É justo ou não pagarmos o imposto a César?”. É importante dizer que eles não estão preocupados se devem ou não pagar impostos a César. A malícia da pergunta é para colocar Jesus numa situação difícil, de aperto, porque o Senhor pode dizer: “Vocês não pagam impostos”, mas Ele está sendo um rebelde social, está criando uma rebeldia. “Não vamos cumprir nossas obrigações. Ninguém paga impostos”. Do outro lado, Ele pode reforçar: “Tem de pagar impostos mesmo. Tem de cumprir e ser assim mesmo”. Dessa forma, Ele estaria reforçando aquilo que os opressores romanos fazem e geram muita revolta no coração do povo. Mas Jesus tem sensatez e sabedoria. Nem tudo que fazemos é justo, mas é correto cumprirmos as nossas normas e obrigações. Estamos no mundo e o jogo deste mundo nem sempre é o mais correto. O mais correto não é a rebeldia pela rebeldia, não é simplesmente a indignação que nos leva a vivermos indiferentes e fora deste mundo. Não somos deste mundo, mas estamos nele. Se, neste mundo, há regras que fazem a convivência social acontecer, temos o direito de questioná-las, mas não temos o direito de não as vivenciar; a não ser que essas regras, constituições ou qualquer coisa parecida firam a nossa moral. Para ser mais claro: pagar impostos, muitas vezes, é injusto. Pagar pedágio, muitas vezes, nas estradas da vida, é injusto, assim como multas ou outras coisas, mas é meu testemunho pagar. Podemos até questionar, não achar correto, mas precisamos cumprir com nossas obrigações. Poderiamos enumerar tantas outras coisas! É correto votar ou não? É correto fazer isso ou não? Estamos na sociedade e ela é regida por leis e regras. O mais importante de tudo é não se esquecer de que é preciso dar a Deus o que é de Deus, é ser justo com a sociedade, com o mundo em que vivemos e com tudo o que fazemos, é simplesmente colocar Deus em primeiro lugar. Qualquer lei, qualquer obrigação que vá contra o amor de Deus, jamais poderemos vivenciá-la nem colocá-la em prática. O Estado pode aprovar o aborto – Deus nos livre disso! –, mas um cristão nunca colocará isso em prática na sua vida, porque o amor a Deus está cima de qualquer coisa, importa antes obedecer a Deus do que aos homens.

If, in this world, there are rules that make the social coexistence happens, we have the right to question them, but we don't have the right not to the experience; unless these rules, constitutions or anything like that hurt our morale. To be more clear: paying taxes, it is often unfair. Pay toll, many times, on the roads of life, is unfair, as well as fines or other things, but he's my witness pay. We can even question, don't think is right, but we need to fulfill our obligations. We could enumerate many other things! Is it okay to vote or not? It is correct to do this or not? We are in society and it is governed by laws and rules. Most importantly, don't forget that we need to give God what belongs to God is to be fair to the company, with the world we live in and with everything we do, is simply put God in the first place. Any law, any obligation to go against God's love, we can never experience it nor put it into practice. The State may approve abortion – God forbid it! -, but a Christian would never put it into practice in your life, because the love of God is up to something, we must obey God rather than men's.
