O Reino de Deus, como uma semente, produzirá abundantes frutos.

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 4,26-34 – Naquele tempo, 26Jesus disse à multidão: “O Reino de Deus é como quando alguém espalha a semente na terra. 27Ele vai dormir e acorda, noite e dia, e a semente vai germinando e crescendo, mas ele não sabe como isso acontece. 28A terra, por si mesma, produz o fruto: primeiro aparecem as folhas, depois vem a espiga e, por fim, os grãos que enchem a espiga. 29Quando as espigas estão maduras, o homem mete logo a foice, porque o tempo da colheita chegou”. 30E Jesus continuou: “Com que mais poderemos comparar o Reino de Deus? Que parábola usaremos para representá-lo? 31O Reino de Deus é como um grão de mostarda, que, ao ser semeado na terra, é a menor de todas as sementes da terra. 32Quando é semeado, cresce e se torna maior do que todas as hortaliças, e estende ramos tão grandes, que os pássaros do céu podem abrigar-se à sua sombra”. 33Jesus anunciava a Palavra usando muitas parábolas como estas, conforme eles podiam compreender. 34E só lhes falava por meio de parábolas, mas, quando estava sozinho com os discípulos, explicava tudo. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 4,26-34 – At that time, 26Jesus said to the crowd: “The Kingdom of God is like when someone scatters seed on the earth. 27He goes to sleep and wakes up, night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows, but he doesn't know how that happens. 28The earth itself produces the fruit: first the leaves appear, then the ear, and finally the grains that fill the ear. 29When the ears are ripe, the man puts in the sickle right away, because the time of harvest has come”. 30And Jesus continued: “With what else can we compare the Kingdom of God? What parable will we use to represent it? 31The Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, which, when sown in the earth, is the smallest of all the seeds of the earth. 32When it is sown, it grows and becomes bigger than all the vegetables, and spreads branches so large that the birds of the sky can shelter in its shade”. 33Jesus preached the Word using many such parables as they could understand. 34And he only spoke to them in parables, but when he was alone with the disciples, he explained everything. – Word of salvation.
