Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus 6,24-34 – Naquele tempo, disse Jesus aos seus discípulos: 24“Ninguém pode servir a dois senhores, pois ou odiará um e amará o outro, ou será fiel a um e desprezará o outro. Vós não podeis servir a Deus e ao dinheiro. 25Por isso eu vos digo, não vos preocupeis com a vossa vida, com o que havereis de comer ou beber; nem com o vosso corpo, com o que havereis de vestir. Afinal, a vida não vale mais do que o alimento, e o corpo, mais do que a roupa? 26Olhai os pássaros dos céus: eles não semeiam, não colhem nem ajuntam em armazéns. No entanto, vosso Pai que está nos céus os alimenta. Vós não valeis mais do que os pássaros? 27Quem de vós pode prolongar a duração da própria vida só pelo fato de se preocupar com isso? 28E por que ficais preocupados com a roupa? Olhai como crescem os lírios do campo: eles não trabalham nem fiam. 29Porém eu vos digo, nem o rei Salomão, em toda a sua glória, jamais se vestiu como um deles. 30Ora, se Deus veste assim a erva do campo, que hoje existe e amanhã é queimada no forno, não fará ele muito mais por vós, gente de pouca fé? 31Portanto, não vos preocupeis, dizendo: ‘O que vamos comer? O que vamos beber? Como vamos nos vestir?’ 32Os pagãos é que procuram essas coisas. Vosso Pai, que está nos céus, sabe que precisais de tudo isso. 33Pelo contrário, buscai em primeiro lugar o Reino de Deus e a sua justiça, e todas estas coisas vos serão dadas por acréscimo. 34Portanto, não vos preocupeis com o dia de amanhã, pois o dia de amanhã terá suas preocupações! Para cada dia, bastam seus próprios problemas”. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 6,24-34 – At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: 24“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be faithful to the one and despise the other . You cannot serve God and money. 25Therefore I say unto you, do not worry about your life, what ye shall eat or drink; nor with your body, with what you will wear. After all, isn't life worth more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26Look at the birds of the heavens: they do not sow, or gather, or gather in storehouses. However, your Father who is in heaven feeds them. You not worth more than birds? 27Who among you can prolong the length of his life just by worrying about it? 28And why are you worried about clothes? Look how the lilies of the field grow: they neither work nor spin. 29But I say unto you, neither king Solomon, in all his glory, ever clothed himself like one of them. 30Now if God thus clothe the grass of the field, which is today and is burned in the oven tomorrow, will he not do much more for you, you people of little faith? 31Therefore, do not worry, saying, `What are we going to eat? What are we going to drink? How are we going to dress?’ 32It is the heathen who seek these things. Your Father, who is in heaven, knows that you need it all. 33On the contrary, seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness, and all these things will be given to you in addition. 34So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have its worries! For each day, its own problems are enough”. – Word of salvation.

Jesus, orienta meu desejo para buscar primeiro o Reino de Deus e sua justiça. E asso, o Pai celeste que zela pela criação, cuidará de nós seus filhos. Amém.
