Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus 8,18-22 – Naquele tempo, 18vendo uma multidão ao seu redor, Jesus mandou passar para a outra margem do lago. 19Então um mestre da Lei aproximou-se e disse: “Mestre, eu te seguirei aonde quer que tu vás”. 20Jesus lhe respondeu: “As raposas têm suas tocas e as aves dos céus têm seus ninhos; mas o Filho do Homem não tem onde reclinar a cabeça”. 21Um outro dos discípulos disse a Jesus: “Senhor, permite-me que primeiro eu vá sepultar meu pai”. 22Mas Jesus lhe respondeu: “Segue-me e deixa que os mortos sepultem os seus mortos”. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 8,18-22 – At that time, 18seeing a crowd around him, Jesus sent to the other side of the lake. 19Then a teacher of the Law approached and said, "Master, I will follow you wherever you go." 20Jesus answered him: “The foxes have their holes and the birds of the air have their nests; but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head”. 21Another of the disciples said to Jesus: "Lord, let me first go and bury my father." 22But Jesus answered him: "Follow me and let the dead bury their dead." – Word of salvation.

Para rezar

Jesus, Filho do Homem, aos que mostram certo entusiasmo para te seguir revelas a necessidade de abandonar as seguranças deste mundo, já que não tens “onde reclinar a cabeça”. Concede-nos, Senhor, compreender as urgências do Reino e deixar-nos conduzir pelo Espírito Santo. Amém.
