Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus 7,15-20 – Naquele tempo, disse Jesus aos seus discípulos: 15“Cuidado com os falsos profetas: eles vêm até vós vestidos com peles de ovelha, mas por dentro são lobos ferozes. 16Vós os conhecereis pelos seus frutos. Por acaso se colhem uvas de espinheiros ou figos de urtigas? 17Assim, toda árvore boa produz frutos bons, e toda árvore má produz frutos maus. 18Uma árvore boa não pode dar frutos maus, nem uma árvore má pode produzir frutos bons. 19Toda árvore que não dá bons frutos é cortada e jogada no fogo. 20Portanto, pelos seus frutos vós os conhecereis”. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 7,15-20 – At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: 15“Beware of false prophets: they come to you dressed in sheep's skins, but inside they are fierce wolves. 16You will know them by their fruits. Do you happen to pick grapes from hawthorns or figs from nettles? 17So every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them”. – Word of salvation.

Jesus, por toda parte e em todos os tempos encontram-se os “falsos profetas”: pessoas habilidosas em enganar os outros. Jogam com as palavras segundo os próprios interesses, mentem, escondem os verdadeiros resultados. Senhor, livra-nos desses lobos ferozes disfarçados de ovelhas. Amém.

Jesus, everywhere and at all times are found the “false prophets”: people skilled in deceiving others. They play with words according to their own interests, they lie, they hide the real results. Lord, deliver us from these fierce wolves disguised as sheep. Amen.
