Texto Bíblico

Naquele tempo, disse Jesus aos seus discípulos: 20 “Se a vossa justiça não for maior que a justiça dos mestres da Lei e dos fariseus, vós não entrareis no Reino dos Céus. 21 Vós ouvistes o que foi dito aos antigos: ‘Não matarás! Quem matar será condenado pelo tribunal’. 22 Eu, porém, vos digo: todo aquele que se encoleriza com seu irmão será réu em juízo; quem disser ao seu irmão: ‘Patife!’ será condenado pelo tribunal; quem chamar o irmão de ‘tolo’ será condenado ao fogo do inferno. 23 Portanto, quando tu estiveres levando a tua oferta para o altar, e ali te lembrares de que teu irmão tem alguma coisa contra ti, 24 deixa a tua oferta ali diante do altar, e vai primeiro reconciliar-te com o teu irmão. Só então vai apresentar a tua oferta. 25 Procura reconciliar-te com teu adversário, enquanto caminha contigo para o tribunal. Senão o adversário te entregará ao juiz, o juiz te entregará ao oficial de justiça, e tu serás jogado na prisão. 26 Em verdade eu te digo: dali não sairás, enquanto não pagares o último centavo”.

Biblical Text 
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: 20 "If your justice is not greater than the Justice of the law and Pharisees, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven. 21 You heard what was said, ' you shall not kill! Whoever kills will be sentenced by the Court '. 22 but I say unto you: every one that angers with your brother is defendant in legal proceedings; who say to your brother, ' you bastard! ' will be sentenced by the Court; who call the brother of ' fool ' will be condemned to the fires of hell. 23 Therefore, whenever you are taking you up on your offer to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offer 24 there before the altar, and go first reconcile with your brother. Only then will present your offer. 25 seeks to reconcile you with your opponent, while walks with you to court. Otherwise the opponent will deliver you to the judge, the judge shall deliver you to the judicial officer, and you be thrown into prison. 26 Verily I say unto you, you will not get out from there until you pay the last penny ".

Refletindo

Cuidemos das palavras ofensivas e duras que saem de nossa boca. Pensemos muito bem antes de colocarmos rótulos em qualquer pessoa, estamos sendo injustos, estamos colocando a pessoa naquela condição, porque usamos sempre palavras duras e erradas para nos referirmos a ela. De tanto chamar a pessoa de preguiçosa, para não dizer outras expressões que usam por aí, aquela pessoa assumiu para si que é um eterno preguiçoso, e isso vale para tantas outras situações da vida. O nosso Mestre Jesus está nos dizendo que seremos julgados pela forma como nos referimos aos outros. Repare! É o tempo de repararmos nossa vida, de corrigirmos as nossas atitudes. Vamos ser muito concretos hoje: preciso, na presença de Jesus, reparar, corrigir e rever a forma como me direciono à pessoa do outro; eu preciso ser, realmente, penitente nesta prática. Não vou mais usar palavras pesadas, pejorativas em relação ao meu próximo; vou conter minha raiva, meu ressentimento na presença e, sobretudo, na ausência dele, vou ter muito “freio” em minha boca para me referir ao meu próximo. Essa é a espiritualidade da vigilância que Jesus nos chama a viver no dia de hoje!

Take care of the offensive words and hard coming out of our mouths. Think long and hard before we put labels in anybody, we're being unfair, we're putting the person in that condition, because we always use harsh words and wrong to refer to her. Of both call the lazy person, not to mention other expressions that use out there, that person took for you that is an eternal lazy, and that goes for many other situations in life. Our Master Jesus is telling us that we will be judged by how we refer to others. Fix! It's time to repair our lives, to correct our attitudes. Let's be very concrete today: need, in the presence of Jesus, repair, correct and review the way I direct to the person of another; I need to be really penitent in this practice. I will no longer use heavy words, about my next pejorative; I will contain my anger, my resentment in the presence and, above all, in his absence, I'm going to have a lot of "brake" on my mouth to refer to my next. That's the spirituality of surveillance that Jesus calls us to live on this day.
