Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo João 21,15-19 – Jesus manifestou-se aos seus discípulos 15e, depois de comerem, perguntou a Simão Pedro: “Simão, filho de João, tu me amas mais do que estes?” Pedro respondeu: “Sim, Senhor, tu sabes que eu te amo”. Jesus disse: “Apascenta os meus cordeiros”. 16E disse de novo a Pedro: “Simão, filho de João, tu me amas?” Pedro disse: “Sim, Senhor, tu sabes que eu te amo”. Jesus disse-lhe: “Apascenta as minhas ovelhas”. 17Pela terceira vez, perguntou a Pedro: “Simão, filho de João, tu me amas?” Pedro ficou triste, porque Jesus perguntou três vezes se ele o amava. Respondeu: “Senhor, tu sabes tudo; tu sabes que eu te amo”. Jesus disse-lhe: “Apascenta as minhas ovelhas. 18Em verdade, em verdade te digo, quando eras jovem, tu te cingias e ias para onde querias. Quando fores velho, estenderás as mãos e outro te cingirá e te levará para onde não queres ir”. 19Jesus disse isso significando com que morte Pedro iria glorificar a Deus. E acrescentou: “Segue-me”. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 21,15-19 - Jesus manifested himself to his disciples 15 and, after eating, asked Simon Peter: “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” Peter replied: "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you". Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." 16And he said to Peter again, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter said, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep." 17For the third time, he asked Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was sad, because Jesus asked three times if he loved him. He replied: “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you ”. Jesus said to him: “Feed my sheep. 18Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you would stick to yourself and go where you wanted. When you are old, you will stretch out your hands and another will gird you and take you where you don't want to go ”. 19Jesus said this meaning with what death Peter would glorify God. And he added: "Follow me". - Word of salvation.

Ó Jesus, caminho único que conduz ao Pai, tua conversa com Pedro,  é um ato de amor que favorece sua cura interior. O que esperas de Pedro e também de mim é uma atitude de amor incondicional, uma entrega total à tua missão. Amém.

To Pray

O Jesus, the only way that leads to the Father, your conversation with Peter, is an act of love that favors your inner healing. What you expect from Pedro and also from me is an attitude of unconditional love, a total surrender to your mission. Amen.
