Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 3,13-19 – Naquele tempo, 13Jesus subiu ao monte e chamou os que ele quis. E foram até ele. 14Então Jesus designou doze, para que ficassem com ele e para enviá-los a pregar, 15com autoridade para expulsar os demônios. 16Designou, pois, os doze: Simão, a quem deu o nome de Pedro; 17Tiago e João, filhos de Zebedeu, aos quais deu o nome de Boanerges, que quer dizer “filhos do trovão”; 18André, Filipe, Bartolomeu, Mateus, Tomé, Tiago, filho de Alfeu, Tadeu, Simão, o cananeu, 19e Judas Iscariotes, aquele que depois o traiu. – Palavra da salvação.

Ó Jesus, enviado do Pai, chamas os que queres para serem teus apóstolos. De origens e culturas diferentes, eles frequentarão tua escola, em que vão conhecer e viver a novidade do Reino de Deus. Depois, darão continuidade à tua obra libertadora. Aumenta, Senhor, o número dos teus eleitos. Amém.

To Pray

O Jesus, sent by the Father, you call those you want to be your apostles. From different backgrounds and cultures, they will attend your school, where they will know and live the newness of the Kingdom of God. Then, they will continue your liberating work. Increase, Lord, the number of your elect. Amen.
