Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Lucas 5,12-16 – 12Aconteceu que Jesus estava numa cidade e havia aí um homem leproso. Vendo Jesus, o homem caiu a seus pés e pediu: “Senhor, se queres, tu tens o poder de me purificar”. 13Jesus estendeu a mão, tocou nele e disse: “Eu quero, fica purificado”. E, imediatamente, a lepra o deixou. 14E Jesus recomendou-lhe: “Não digas nada a ninguém. Vai mostrar-te ao sacerdote e oferece pela purificação o prescrito por Moisés como prova de tua cura”. 15Não obstante, sua fama ia crescendo, e numerosas multidões acorriam para ouvi-lo e serem curadas de suas enfermidades. 16Ele, porém, se retirava para lugares solitários e se entregava à oração. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 5: 12-16 - 12 It happened that Jesus was in a city and there was a leper man there. Seeing Jesus, the man fell at his feet and asked: "Lord, if you want, you have the power to purify me". 13Jesus reached out, touched him and said, "I want to, be clean." And immediately, leprosy left him. 14And Jesus recommended him, “Don't say anything to anyone. Go and show yourself to the priest and offer the purification prescribed by Moses as proof of your healing ”. 15 Nevertheless, his fame was growing, and numerous crowds flocked to hear him and be cured of his illnesses. 16He, however, he withdrew to lonely places and gave himself up to prayer. - Word of salvation.

Ó Jesus, recebeste um homem com uma doença de pele grave e atendendo ao pedido dele, o livras da doença, o reintegras na vida social e lhe dás condições de ir ao templo prestar culto a Deus. Livra-nos também, Senhor, de tudo o que nos impede de ter vida plena. Amém.

To Pray

O Jesus, you have received a man with a serious skin disease and in response to his request, you have saved him from illness, reintegrated him into social life and have enabled him to go to the temple to worship God. Deliver us also, Lord, from everything that prevents us from having a full life. Amen.
