Os fariseus se reúnem para planejar a morte de Jesus. O que Jesus havia feito de errado? Os fariseus notaram que Ele ao interpretar as tradições sabia que essas tradições se haviam tornado carga pesada para o povo. Certos sacrifícios forçados não podem agradar a Deus. É na liberdade que cada um demonstra seu amor sincero. Se cumpre a lei porque é obrigado, onde está a virtude? Por isso é que Jesus cita o profeta Oseias (6,6): “Quero misericórdia e não sacrifício”. Porque também Deus é um Deus de misericórdia e não um tirano pronto a castigar o mínimo deslize no cumprimento da lei. Jesus é o servo do Senhor: está a serviço do Deus misericordioso.

The Pharisees gather to plan the death of Jesus. What did Jesus do wrong? The Pharisees noted that he in interpreting the traditions knew that these traditions had become heavy burden for the people.
