Sou manso e humilde de coração.

I am meek and humble of heart.

Já percebeu que hoje temos muita gente sofredora. A prática do aborto, o tráfico de pessoas, o uso desenfreado e irresponsável do sexo, a não aceitação de Deus na própria vida, tudo isso concorre para sufocar a humanidade e envolvê-la na tristeza e na infelicidade. Jesus vem mostrar outro caminho. Ele pessoalmente se dispõe a conduzir os que ouvem sua voz e decidem segui-lo. Ele é manso e humilde, é nosso ombro amigo e conforto para os momentos de angústia, saída certa quando estamos desorientados. Seu coração permanece generosamente aberto para todos: “Venham a mim todos vocês que andam cansados…”.

You realize that today we have a lot of suffering people. The practice of abortion, the trafficking of people, the unbridled and irresponsible use of sex, the non-acceptance of God in life itself, all this competes to smother humanity and involve it in sadness and misery. Jesus comes to show another way. He personally is willing to drive those who hear his voice and decide to follow him. He is meek and humble, is our friend shoulder and comfort for the moments of anguish, right exit when we are disoriented. His heart remains generously open to all: "Come to me all you who walk weary...".

Leitura do livro do Êxodo 3,13-20 – Naqueles dias, ouvindo a voz do Senhor do meio da sarça, 13Moisés disse a Deus: “Sim, eu irei aos filhos de Israel e lhes direi: ‘O Deus de vossos pais enviou-me a vós’. Mas, se eles perguntarem: ‘Qual é o seu nome?’, o que lhes devo responder?” 14Deus disse a Moisés: “Eu sou aquele que sou”. E acrescentou: “Assim responderás aos filhos de Israel: ‘Eu sou enviou-me a vós’”. 15E Deus disse ainda a Moisés: “Assim dirás aos filhos de Israel: ‘O Senhor, o Deus de vossos pais, o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó, enviou-me a vós’. Reading the Book of Exodus 3,13-20 – In those days, hearing the voice of the Lord in the midst of the bush, 13Moses said to God, "yes, I will go unto the children of Israel and say unto them, ' The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you. ' But if they ask, ' What is your name? ', what shall I answer to them? " 14God said to Moses, "I am the one I am." And he added: "Thou shalt answer unto the children of Israel, ' I am sent unto you. '" 15And God said unto Moses, "Thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, ' The Lord, the god of your fathers, the god of Abraham, the god of ISAAC, and the god of Jacob, hath sent me unto you. ' That is my name forever, and I will be remembered from generation to generation. 16Go, gather the elders of Israel, and say unto them, ' The Lord, the god of your fathers, the god of Abraham, the god of ISAAC, and the god of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, I have visited you and seen everything that happens to you in Egypt. 17And I have decided to take you from the oppression of Egypt and lead you to the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Ferezeus, the Eveus and the Jebuseus, to a land where they run milk and honey. Salmo 104/105

O Senhor se lembra sempre da aliança. – Dai graças ao Senhor, gritai seu nome, / anunciai entre as nações seus grandes feitos! / Lembrai as maravilhas que ele fez, / seus prodígios e as palavras de seus lábios! – Ele sempre se recorda da aliança, / promulgada a incontáveis gerações; / da aliança que ele fez com Abraão / e do seu santo juramento a Isaac. – Deus deu um grande crescimento a seu povo / e o fez mais forte que os próprios opressores. / Ele mudou seus corações para odiá-lo, / e trataram com má-fé seus servidores. – Então mandou Moisés, seu mensageiro, / e igualmente Aarão, seu escolhido; / por meio deles realizou muitos prodígios / e, na terra do Egito, maravilhas.

Psalm 104/105

The Lord always remembers the Covenant. – Give thanks to the Lord, shout his name,/proclaim among the nations his great deeds! /Remember the wonders he has done,/his prodigies and the words of his lips! – He always remembers the Covenant,/promulgated to countless generations; /Of the Covenant he made with Abraham/and his Holy oath to Isaac. – God gave great growth to his people/and made him stronger than the oppressors themselves. /He changed their hearts to hate him,/and they treated with bad faith their servers. "Then sent Moses, his messenger, and also Aaron, his chosen one; /through them accomplished many wonders/and, in the land of Egypt, marvels.
