O reino dos céus está próximo.

The Kingdom of Heaven is near.

Jesus constitui o grupo dos Doze, aos quais dá o nome de apóstolos, isto é, enviados em missão. São homens de origens e culturas diferentes; temperamentos e tendências políticas variadas. Jesus reúne os apóstolos e os mantém perto de si para os instruir. No momento oportuno, os envia “às ovelhas perdidas” por causa dos maus pastores, conforme Jeremias anunciava: “Meu povo era um rebanho perdido” (Jr 50,6). Dá-lhes a tarefa de libertar integralmente as pessoas, por isso lhes confere o poder de expulsar demônios e curar “toda doença e toda enfermidade”. Qual é o núcleo da pregação que Jesus lhes propõe? “Anunciem que o Reino dos Céus está próximo”. Ou seja, o reinado de Deus está ao alcance de todos, desde que se abram para o acolher.

Jesus constitutes the group of the Twelve, to whom he gives the name of apostles, that is, sent in mission. They are men of different origins and cultures; Varying temperaments and political tendencies. Jesus gathers the apostles and keeps them close to him to instruct them. At the opportune time, he sent them "to the lost sheep" because of the bad shepherds, as Jeremiah announced: "My people were a lost flock" (Jer 50.6). It gives them the task of liberating people entirely, so it gives them the power to expel demons and heal "all sickness and all sickness." What is the core of the preaching that Jesus proposes to them? "Announce that the kingdom of Heaven is near." That is, the reign of God is within the reach of all, as long as they are open to welcoming him.

Leitura do livro do Gênesis 41,55-57; 42,5-7.17-24 – Naqueles dias, 55todo o Egito começou a sentir fome, e o povo clamou ao faraó, pedindo alimento. E ele respondeu-lhe: “Dirigi-vos a José e fazei o que ele vos disser”. 56Quando a fome se estendeu a todo o país, José abriu os celeiros e vendeu trigo aos egípcios, porque a fome também os oprimia. 57De todas as nações vinham ao Egito comprar alimento, pois a fome era dura em toda a terra. 42,5Os filhos de Israel entraram na terra do Egito com outros que também iam comprar trigo, pois havia fome em Canaã. 6José era governador na terra do Egito e, conforme a sua vontade, se vendia trigo à população. Chegando os irmãos de José, prostraram-se diante dele com o rosto em terra. 7Ao ver seus irmãos, José os reconheceu. 17E mandou metê-los na prisão durante três dias. 18E, no terceiro dia, disse-lhes: “Fazei o que já vos disse e vivereis, pois eu temo a Deus. 19Se sois sinceros, fique um dos irmãos preso aqui no cárcere, e vós outros ide levar para vossas casas o trigo que comprastes. 20Mas trazei-me o vosso irmão mais novo, para que eu possa provar a verdade de vossas palavras e não morrerdes”. Eles fizeram como José lhes tinha dito. 21E diziam uns aos outros: “Sofremos justamente estas coisas, porque pecamos contra o nosso irmão; vimos a sua angústia, quando nos pedia compaixão, e não o atendemos. É por isso que nos veio esta tribulação”. 22Rúben disse-lhes: “Não vos adverti, dizendo: ‘Não pequeis contra o menino’? E vós não me escutastes. E agora nos pedem conta do seu sangue”. 23Ora, eles não sabiam que José os entendia, pois lhes falava por meio de intérprete. 24Então, José afastou-se deles e chorou. – Palavra do Senhor.

Reading of the Book of Genesis 41,55-57; 42,5-7.17-24 – In those days, 55all Egypt began to feel hunger, and the people cried out to the pharaoh, asking for nourishment. And he replied, "I have directed you to Joseph, and do what he tells you." 56When hunger extended to the whole country, Joseph opened the barns and sold wheat to the Egyptians, because hunger also oppressed them. 57Of All nations came to Egypt to buy food, for hunger was harsh throughout the Earth. 42, 5The Children of Israel entered the land of Egypt with others who would also buy wheat, for there was hunger in Canaan. 6Joseph was governor in the Land of Egypt and, according to his will, sold wheat to the population. When Joseph's brothers came, they prostrated before him with his face on the ground. 7When he saw his brethren, Joseph recognized them. 17E had them put in prison for three days. 18 And on the third day he said unto them, "Do what I have said unto you, and ye shall live, for I fear God. 19If you are sincere, stay one of the brothers trapped here in prison, and you others Will take to your homes the wheat you have bought. 20But Bring Me your younger brother, that I may prove the truth of your words and not die. " They did as Joseph had told them. 21And they said to each other: "We suffer precisely these things, because we sin against our brother; We saw his anguish, when he asked us for compassion, and we did not serve him. (Mc 1,15) – Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 10,1-7 – At that time, 1Jesus called the Twelve disciples and gave them power to expels the evil spirits and to heal all sorts of sickness and illness. 2These are the names of the Twelve Apostles: First, Simon, named Peter, and Andrew, his brother; James, son of Zebedeu, and his brother John; 3Philip and Bartholomew; Tomé and Mateus, the tax collector; James, son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus; 4Simão, the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, who was the traitor of Jesus. 5Jesus sent these twelve with the following recommendations: "You must not go where the pagans live or enter the cities of the Samaritans! 6Ide, before, to the lost sheep of the house of Israel! 7On your way, announce: ' The Kingdom of Heaven is near.
