Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
It may be that the day we celebrate all the faithful departed is a sorry day in the heart of many people. There's longing, need that loved one. However, we must look for the hand of faith and hope, because that's where God leads us, for his presence and today we celebrate our salvation, If we look at things only from human form, let's face death as a tragedy as sad, as an end. The one who gave us life, here on Earth, is the same that gives us life in its fullness, in the House, with him. Is that sure, that trust that we have, we can't face death as pagans or as those who do not know God. There is a tendency to look at death as the end of it: "it's over. Life here, period. " What to many is the end point for us is the start point, the end point, is the point of glory, glorification of all human effort. Don't look at the death with disbelief, I didn't think of it as tragedy. Although, often, she gets in the middle of us unexpectedly, through tragic or sad situations, God is one that transforms all things, nothing is lost. All things compete for the sake of those who are waiting for him. Let's not forget to pray for brothers who have passed on. All this serve also to prepare ourselves better, to make us, every day, in the pursuit of eternity, the place that God has prepared on each of the father. Jesus pronounces words of comfort and hope. We are not abandoned, alone, without direction, without master, without a shepherd. Jesus is the giver of life; He does not reject anybody, did come down from heaven for us, "came down from heaven, not to do my will, but the will of him who sent me. And the will of him who sent me is that I don't lose any of what he gave me. " Jesus and the Father want abundant life to all. Unique and indispensable requirement of Jesus is to believe him. Believe is not simply feed good thoughts or tell the mouth out "I believe". The faith requires the practice of the works of Justice, brotherhood and mercy. So, Yes, we can be sure of eternal life: "I bring to life on the last day". Salvation will only be complete with the resurrection.
