🇧🇷Ótimo dia - 07 Dez - Liturgia Diária ::: 🇺🇸Great day - Dez 07 - Daily Liturgy

Levanta-te, pega o leito e vai para casa.
Get up, take up the bed and go home.

1a.Leitura
– Palavra do Senhor.

1st. Reading
Reading the book of the prophet Isaiah 35,1-10 - 1Let the land that was deserted and impassable, rejoice in solitude and blossom like a lily. 2Germinate and rejoice in joy and praise. He was given the glory of Lebanon, the splendor of Carmel and Saron; its inhabitants will see the glory of the Lord, the majesty of our God. 3 Strengthen your weakened hands and firm your weakened knees. 4 Tell depressed people, “Be of good cheer, do not be afraid! See, it is your God, it is the vengeance that comes, it is the reward of God; it is he who comes to save you ”. 5Then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf will be opened. 6 The lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb will be untied, just as waters will spring up in the desert and gushing torrents in the wilderness. 7The arid land will turn into a lake, and the thirsty region, into sources of water; in the caves where dragons lived, reeds and reeds will grow. 8 There will be a path and a path; the road will be called the holy road: the impure will not pass through it, but it will be a straight road on which even the weak will not be lost. 9 There are no lions, there are no predatory animals, nor do they even appear there; those who are freed will be able to walk it, 10os that the Lord saved will return home. They will come to Zion singing praises, with infinite joy shining on their faces: full of joy and contentment, they will no longer know pain and weeping ”. - Word of the Lord.

Salmo 84/85
Eis que vem o nosso Deus! Ele vem para salvar.

Psalm 84/85
Behold, our God is coming! He comes to save.
1. I want to hear what the Lord will say: / it is the peace that he will announce; / peace for your people and your friends, / for those who turn their hearts to the Lord. / The salvation of those who fear him is near, / and glory will dwell in our land.
2. Truth and love will meet, / justice and peace will embrace; / from the earth faithfulness will spring up, / and justice will look from the high heavens.
3. The Lord will give us all that is good, / and our land will give us its crops; / justice will go before you, / and salvation will follow in your steps.

Evangelho
E a virtude do Senhor o levava a curar.

Gospel
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 5,17-26 - 17One day Jesus was teaching. All around him were Pharisees and Doctors of the Law, coming from all the villages of Galilee, Judea and Jerusalem. And the Lord's virtue led him to heal. 18 Some men brought a paralyzed man to a bed and tried to get him in to introduce him. 19But, finding no way to introduce him due to the crowd, they went up to the roof and, between the tiles, lowered him with the bed in the middle of the assembly, before Jesus. 20 Seeing their faith, he said, "Man, your sins are forgiven." 21The scribes and Pharisees began to murmur, saying, “Who is this that blasphemes? Who can forgive sins but God? ” 22 Knowing their thoughts, Jesus replied, saying, “Why do you murmur in your hearts? 23What is easier, saying: 'Your sins are forgiven' or saying: 'Get up and walk'? 24For so that you may know that the Son of Man has on earth the power to forgive sins - he said to the paralytic -, I say to you: get up, take up the bed and go home ”. 25 Immediately, before them, he got up, took the bed and went home, praising God. 26Everyone was beside themselves, glorified God and, full of fear, said: “Today we have seen wonderful things!” - Word of salvation.

To think about
Jesus attacks evil at the root: "Your sins are forgiven." Pharisees and teachers of the Law are scandalized, because only God can forgive sins. Jesus clarifies: "The Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins". And he performs the integral cure, freeing the man from his paralysis and the people are exultant: "Today we saw extraordinary things".

To Pray
O Jesus, tireless missionary of the heavenly Father, do not cease to teach, also to the Pharisees and teachers of the Law. Before them you work to cure the paralytic and grant him the forgiveness of sins. In this way, you reveal your power to heal and forgive sins, leading all people to glorify God. Amen.
