🇧🇷Reflexão 14/02/2020 🇺🇸Reflection

“Efatá!”, que quer dizer: “Abre-te!”
“Efatá!”, which means: “Open up!”

Jesus opens his ears and loosens his tongue, so that each Christian can listen, practice and make others know the Word of God. In today's text, deafness can mean the obstacle that prevents disciples from understanding Jesus' teachings. Speaking with difficulty, the impediment to announce the Word of God. In effect, Jesus transforms us into new creatures so that everyone can hear, practice and take the Word of God to others. What importance do we attach to knowledge, practice and reading of the Holy Bible?

1a. Leitura
– Palavra do Senhor.

1st. Reading
Reading of the first book of Kings 11,29-32; 12,19 - 29It happened at that time that when Jeroboam left Jerusalem, the prophet Ahijah of Silo came to him, covered with a new mantle. The two were alone in the field. 30Aiah, taking the new robe he wore, tore it in twelve pieces 31 and said to Jeroboam: “Take ten pieces for yourself. For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Behold, I will take the kingdom out of Solomon's hands, and I will give you ten tribes. 32But he will remain with a tribe, out of consideration for my servant David and for Jerusalem, the city that I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel ”. 12,19Israel has rebelled against the house of David to this day. - Word of the Lord.

Salmo 80/81
Ouve, meu povo, porque eu sou o teu Deus!
3. Quem me dera que meu povo me escutasse!

Psalm 80/81
Listen, my people, because I am your God!
1. There is no strange god in your midst, / or worshiping an unknown god! / For I am your God and your Lord, / that I pulled you out of the land of Egypt.
2. But my people did not hear my voice, / Israel did not care to obey me. / I then let them follow their whims, / I abandoned them to their hard hearts.
3. I wish my people would listen to me! / May Israel always walk in my ways! / Your enemies, without delay, would humiliate / and turn my hand against the oppressor.

Evangelho
Aleluia, aleluia, aleluia.

Immediately his ears opened, his tongue loosened and he began to speak without difficulty. 36Jesus urged them not to tell anyone.
