🇧🇷Reflexão 10/02/2020 🇺🇸Reflection

E todos quantos o tocavam ficavam curados.
And all who touched him were healed.

A cura verdadeira e completa atinge o interior.

Jesus circulates the entire region, through villages, cities or fields. And the sick run to him on their own legs or carried on stretchers and placed in front of him. They want to touch at least the hem of your mantle. By touch, healing occurs. Lucas explains: “because a force came out of him that healed everyone” (Lk 6,19). Naturally, Jesus offers a cure that goes beyond the physical aspect, according to the person's internal disposition. True and complete healing reaches the interior. From those healed, Jesus expected full adherence to him and generous service to the community.

1a. Leitura
– Palavra do Senhor.

1st. Reading
Reading of the first book of Kings 1 Kings 8,1-7,9-13 - In those days, 1Salomon summoned all the elders of Israel, all the chiefs of the tribes and the princes of the families of the children of Israel, with him in Jerusalem, in order to transfer from the city of Zion, which is Jerusalem, the ark of the Lord's covenant. 2All Israel gathered around Solomon in the month of Etanim, that is, in the seventh month, during the feast. 3 All the elders of Israel came, and the priests took the ark 4 and carried it along with the tent of meeting, as well as all the sacred objects that were in it; the priests and the Levites carried them. 5King Solomon and the whole community of Israel, gathered around him, slaughtered sheep and oxen in such numbers before the ark that it could not be counted or calculated. 6And the priests led the ark of the Lord's covenant to its place, in the temple sanctuary, to the Most Holy, under the wings of the cherubim, 7for the cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark, covering the ark and its poles above it . 9 Within the ark were only the two stone tablets that Moses had laid there on Mount Horeb, when the Lord concluded the covenant with the children of Israel, as soon as they left the land of Egypt. 10 Now when the priests left the sanctuary, a cloud filled the temple of the Lord, 11 so that the priests were unable to continue their functions because the glory of the Lord had filled the temple of the Lord. 12So Solomon said, "The Lord said he would dwell in a cloud, 13and I have built a house for your dwelling, a temple where you live forever." - Word of the Lord.

Salmo 131/132

Psalm 131/132
Go up, Lord, to the place of your landing!
1. We learned that the ark was in Ephrata / and in the fields of Iaar we found it. / Let us enter the place where he lives, / before the footstool of his feet we adore him!
2. Go up, Lord, to the place of your landing, / go up with your mighty ark! / May your saints dress in joy, / and your priests in justice! / Because of your servant David, / keep your face from your anointed one!
