Evangelho - Mateus 13,18-23

Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus – Naquele tempo, disse Jesus aos seus discípulos: ¹⁸“Ouvi a parábola do semeador: ¹⁹todo aquele que ouve a palavra do Reino e não a compreende, vem o maligno e rouba o que foi semeado em seu coração. Este é o que foi semeado à beira do caminho. ²⁰A semente que caiu em terreno pedregoso é aquele que ouve a palavra e logo a recebe com alegria; ²¹mas ele não tem raiz em si mesmo, é de momento: quando chega o sofrimento ou a perseguição por causa da palavra, ele desiste logo. ²²A semente que caiu no meio dos espinhos é aquele que ouve a palavra, mas as preocupações do mundo e a ilusão da riqueza sufocam a palavra, e ele não dá fruto. ²³A semente que caiu em boa terra é aquele que ouve a palavra e a compreende. Esse produz fruto. Um dá cem, outro sessenta e outro trinta”. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew - At that time Jesus said to his disciples, 18 "Hear the parable of the sower: 19 Whosoever heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not: the wicked one cometh, and taketh away that which was sown in his heart. This is he who was sown by the wayside. 20The seed that fell on rocky ground is he who hears the word and soon receives it with joy; 21But he has no root in himself, it is for the moment: when suffering or persecution comes because of the word, he gives up soon. 22The seed that fell among the thorns is he who hears the word, but the worries of the world and the illusion of wealth choke the word, and it bears no fruit. 23The seed that fell on good ground is he who hears the word and understands it. It bears fruit. One gives a hundred, another sixty and another thirty. " - Word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

É do próprio Jesus a explicação da parábola do semeador. É necessário que a Palavra penetre em nosso íntimo, provoque conversão e produza obras de justiça e fraternidade. A “Palavra do Reino” é sempre boa; o semeador é generoso e espalha as sementes a mancheias. A falha está nos terrenos (pessoas). A busca de poder, o apego aos bens materiais, as tribulações da missão, tudo isso impede ou dificulta o crescimento da Palavra no coração das pessoas. Curiosamente, dos quatro terrenos apresentados, apenas um produz frutos de modo satisfatório. Essa proporção (ou desproporção) indica que a missão de Jesus e dos cristãos com frequência não produz os frutos esperados. Nenhum motivo para desânimo. Abraçar e seguir as propostas do Reino supõe tribulações. Com a constante presença do Senhor.

Reflecting the Gospel
