Tua mãe e teus irmãos estão aí fora e querem falar contigo”. 48Jesus perguntou àquele que tinha falado: “Quem é minha mãe e quem são meus irmãos?” 49E, estendendo a mão para os discípulos, Jesus disse: “Eis minha mãe e meus irmãos. 50Pois
todo aquele que faz a vontade do meu Pai, que está nos céus, esse é meu
irmão, minha irmã e minha mãe”. – Palavra da salvação.

of the Gospel of Jesus Christ According to Matthew - At that time,
while Jesus was speaking to the multitudes, his mother and his brothers
stood outside, seeking to speak with him. 47 Someone said to Jesus, "Look! Your mother and your brothers are out there and they want to talk to you. " 48Jesus
asked him who had spoken, "Who is my mother and who are my brothers?"
49And stretching out his hand to the disciples, Jesus said, "Behold, my
mother and my brothers. 50For everyone who does the will of my Father who is in heaven is my brother and sister and mother. " - Word of salvation.
Refletindo o Evangelho
Não está dito que Jesus tenha recusado receber sua mãe e seus parentes.
Ele aproveita o ensejo para apresentar uma novidade. Doravante, a
pertença à familiaridade de Jesus se dá por outros critérios e não
somente pelos laços de sangue. Sua nova família se constitui com as
pessoas que fazem a vontade do Pai celeste. Jesus não fica confinado a
pequeno grupo, ou exclusivo de uma raça. Ele vem para unir ao seu redor
os povos do mundo inteiro. Ele é o Senhor e o Mestre de todos. Ele
próprio se autodenomina o bom Pastor e prediz que “todos se tornarão um
só rebanho com um só pastor” (Jo 10,16). Pois ele veio do Pai para
salvar não apenas um povo, mas para reunir os filhos de Deus que estão
espalhados por toda parte (cf. Jo 11,52). Você se sente fazendo parte da
família de Jesus Cristo?

It is not said that Jesus refused to receive his mother and his relatives. He takes the opportunity to present a novelty. From now on, belonging to the familiarity of Jesus takes place by other criteria and not only by the bonds of blood. His new family is made up of people who do the will of the heavenly Father. Jesus is not confined to a small group, or exclusive to a race. He comes to unite the peoples of the whole world around him. He is Lord and Master of all. He himself calls himself the Good Shepherd and predicts that "all shall become one fold with one shepherd" (Jn 10:16). For
he came from the Father to save not only one people, but to gather the
children of God that are scattered everywhere (cf. Jn 11:52). Do you feel part of the family of Jesus Christ?
